Looking down on the Danube River from the ruins of the medieval castle where Richard I of England (otherwise known as Richard the Lionheart) was imprisoned and held for ransom. The place is called Burgruine Dürnstein, and is about an hour drive from our home in Vienna. Perfect for a day trip yesterday.
