Belittlement and Belonging. || Yukari & (Ken)
Yukari blinked as she looked down at Ken, giving a weak smile. He had grown quite a bit since she had last seen him.
"Kenā¦." She muttered softly, kneeling down in front of him. Her eyes watered slightly and she took in his form. He was taller now, and she supposed him drinking all that milk was to blame. His eyes stared at her as she then looked down at her own form.
She was slimmer now, not much, but definitely noticeable. Her wrists and other joints were much more pronounced now, and she gave him another weak smile as she shook something from her mind. She stared up at him, taking in the dorm around her more and more. The furniture was the same, some things moved, some things aged. She sighed, relieved, when Ken finally spoke her name.
"Itās so good to see you."
While she took her time to look around, to feel their dorm for what it was again - their home - , Ken stared at her, taking in her thinner feature, swallowing lightly. He wanted to do so many things, hug her, possibly cry, but all he managed to do was lifting his arm to touch her face, her cheek.Ā
"It's... good to see you, too."Ā He couldn't help the small tear that ran down his face, looking surprised when realizing that he was crying after all. It was only natural for him to do so though, Yukari being one of the most important people he ever met.Ā
"You.. You're gonna stay, right?"
