Hi Sophie -- why did you choose a pair of men's loafers to represent "mom" in the 2016 Google doodle? All that we saw was a pair of men's loafers (representing dad), a pair of small sandals (for the child), and no shoes for mom which led us to believe she is... the doormat? Bad message -- I think you missed the mark on this one. :(

These are women’s loafers. I wanted to select a pair of shoes that would be:

super comfortable (moms are constantly running around!)

slip-on (gotta be ready for anything)

professional (for working moms)

stylish! (because fashion transcends generations)

I hope this helps you see why I chose these shoes.
