Nobody asked but here are my sand sibling piercing headcannons This is inspired by my moots (@/sauriaaaaaan) posts
Tenari: Vertical lambert, canine bites, lobe, high lobe, bridge, industrial, nostril (both sides), and a forward helix
She got her first piercings (ears) when she was really young and got a ton more during a rebellious phase in her early teens (wasn't actually a rebellious phase she started looking a little too much like her mom for her own comfort)
Got most of hers done professionally (-ish) so she's never had any infections or big issues
Once she started getting involved in suna politics she let most of them close (mostly the ones near her mouth) before repiercing them once Gaara got his
Kankuro: Dahlia bites, lobe, nostril, bridge, vertical lambert, medusa, industrial, daith, tragus, tongue, navel, collarbones, and a helix
Also got his first piercings (also ears) when he was young he didn't need a rebellious phase to start getting more tho he just realized nobody gave a fuck about what he did (middle child syndrome) and went wild
Had the most problems / infected piercings out of all of them bc he did almost all of them himself (Gaara and temari physically cringe everytime he tells the story of how he gave himself an eyebrow and tongue piercing on the same day with the same needle)
Never takes them out / let's them close even when he gets involved in politics
Gaara: Lobe, high lobe, ashley, industrial, nostril (both sides), septum, navel, and inner eyebrow
Got his ears pierced straight out the womb like straight out (don't question the logic behind this) He didn't get / want more till he realized Temari and Kankuro had lots and he was like "...me too" Getting more was a FUCKING STRUGGLE tho the sand wouldn't let a stranger with a sharp object that close so most of his piercings were done by Kankuro under the watch of a professional
Had small issues here and there but his jinchuriki healimg stops them from becoming too serious
NEVER takes them out don't ask him to take them out he WILL go on a rant about how much of a struggle it was to get them if you even hint at suggesting he take them out
