Two words: SLOW. BURN. 

The writer loves to play the viewers and laugh hysterically while she lets us wait for OTP to happen in ep 14 maybe (god please end this slow burn that’s soooo fucking good). 

But in all seriousness, I think WookSoo happened because the writer would like to show us how human~ Soo is and how one can fall in and out of love. What’s really interesting is how even though Soo decided that she ‘loves’ Wook, she admitted (although not outloud) that So bothers her a lot (like a whole lot), which begs the question: Did Soo really love Wook or the idea of Wook (and vice versa). Just my three cents.
