India declares freedom of sexual orientation a fundamental right
“India’s Supreme Court has issued a historic ruling confirming the right of the country’s LGBT people to express their sexuality without discrimination.
Judges ruled that sexual orientation is covered under clauses in the Indian Constitution that relate to liberty, despite the Government claiming there was no legal right to privacy.
The ruling paves the way for discriminatory practices against LGBT people to be challenged in the courts.”

This is such a huge deal! It affects 1.3 billion people.
This is…… amazing.

In Light Of Recent Events
As some of you may know, and as others may not, Millie Bobby Brown has deactivated her Twitter account, presumably due to the fact that her fanbase were posting homophobic memes in the comment section of her Tweets.
Many of her fans thought that these memes were funny and that it was all just a joke- However, this “joke” was, evidently, taken too far.
The memes included fabricated screenshots were pictures from her Snapchat, that, and I cannot stress this enough, were not real, as well as pictures with her face and name plastered all over it right next to a homophobic quote that she did not say.
If you are uncomfortable with reading homophobic quotes, I recommend scrolling past the images of some of the fake quotes I’ve included.
They are as follows:
I’ve seen a multitude of these fabricated screenshots and quotes, and some of them look very real- And that’s just the problem.
Like I said before, many people in the fandom thought that these were things Millie actually said. A hashtag went around Twitter saying “Take Millie Bobby Brown Down” and, quite obviously, if I might add, this led to extreme hate for Millie.
With these images floating around, and Millie getting so much hate towards her, she decided it was best to deactivate her Twitter account.
Now, I don’t know how I’m going to get this through your thick fucking skulls, but Millie Bobby Brown is a 14 year old girl with an incredible amount of fame. It was so easy to predict how messy this entire situation could’ve gotten, but the people who made the memes still decided to go through with it anyway.
Guess what, you stupid cunts- It’s not fucking funny.
You just harassed and bullied a 14 year old girl off of the internet. That is sickening. Millie has done nothing but spread light and positivity. I can’t even fathom how someone could’ve come up with such an idea like this one- To fabricate quotes of Millie’s for the purpose of a “joke” that did no good for anyone involved.
To the people who were doing this, thinking it was funny, I have multiple questions to ask you.
For example, I want to know:
• If you regret this
• Why you did this
• What you gained from doing this
• Why you continued to do it after it got out of hand
• And, most importantly, what the fuck you were thinking
I have 0 remorse for the people who participated in the spreading of hate towards Millie. Whether they are the people who believed the obviously fake quotes and started the nasty “Take Millie Bobby Brown Down” hashtag, the people who spread these quotes and memes that lead to her deactivation of her Twitter account, or the people who decided to clap and cheer when they saw she had deactivated her account, I am disgusted and disappointed with each and every person involved.
This entire situation is not only heartbreaking, but disturbing. To think that her own fucking fans would drive a 14 year old girl who has done nothing off of the internet is very hurtful.
Imagine how Millie feels about this. Take, for just a fucking moment, to think, FOR ONCE, about how this fanbase’s actions have affected the person they claim to adore negatively. This isn’t the first time the fandom has been toxic towards Millie.
The fandom has been toxic towards all of the kids.
I hope the people invloved with this hang their heads in shame and understand that what they did, what the chose to do, at that, is cruel and wrong.
I hope you feel fucking terrible about this.
Most of all, I hope the fandom will learn to take responsibility for their piss poor decisions.
Good day.
-Emily
“I realize now I didn’t recognize this other danger of an authoritarian president: his enablers and the willing supporters who squash dissent and help attack the free press and subvert the Constitution. The fact that Trump will use any opportunity to spread lies and whip up hatred toward journalists only enables his powerful supporters in the media to do his dirty work for him. In April, another disturbing example of journalistic manipulation was exposed when a video surfaced showing news anchors from 45 Sinclair-owned stations reciting word for word the same script criticizing the mainstream media and spouting the “fake news” accusations that Trump uses in his diatribes. While Trump used the opportunity to blast its critics and offer his support for the “superior” Sinclair Broadcasting, he hadn’t orchestrated this abuse of journalistic integrity. He didn’t have to; there were others willing to do it for him.”

Let’s have some more canon lesbians
In fact let’s have the original Canon Lesbians
These two were the first lesbians I ever saw on TV. They had such an awesome relationship that developed and grew and was believable. It also wasn’t male focused or overly sexualised. It was just willow and tara.
I particularly loved how they both lived happily ever after in a little cottage with a pet cat being happy magic casting witches together and nothing bad happened at all.
Whatever dick stuff he did, and has done since, Joss Whedon did give us the firts ever, that I am aware of, gay couple falling in love.
That saved lives.
Happy pride month! I drew all the characters from Until Sunset - it looks like they’re on the couch from the Friends intro song. Like so no one told you life was gonna be this gay!

Isaac has resigned himself to being stuck alone in his family holiday house for 2 months – that is until he meets Derek, a merman that got wounded when swimming too close to a fishing boat. Now Isaac gets to spend his holiday nursing his new friend back to health, and finds that he wouldn’t want to spend it any other way.
I’m gonna marry my best friend. Yep, I said it.. We’re doing the unthinkable. Wish us luck. Lol 💜

Vulnerable people. Send your love to their family and close ones and ALWAYS question why it and things like it happened. Don’t ever stop fighting for justice for Grenfell and it’s victims.
