NSV: Went to the gym for the first time today.
I had no idea what I was doing 50% of the time, but hey... room for improvement.
My Trader Joe’s… MY TRADER JOE’S HAS PARSNIP CHIPS! They’re $2.99 a bag. I opened these in the car on the way home, and they’re delicious. They have a mild sweetness that reminds me of sweet potatoes.
UPDATE: I never finished the bag. After a couple of servings, all I can taste is the oil the parsnips have been fried in. Maybe I need to come up with some flavorful dips to eat these with.
Trader Joe's Wild Caught Sardines in Harissa, $1.49 for a delicious spicy and protein-packed can. I will honestly never stop singing the praises of sardines.

I haven't posted real food in a while, so here's a picture of my simple lunch. I love roasting green beans in the oven. My oven can be finicky, so they don't always come out crispy... but they're always delicious. Toss with oil and seasoning (Tony Chachere's--not counted) and stick in a preheated 475F oven for 14 minutes, mixing halfway. 275 calories, 8g net carbs, 20g protein, 17g fat.
How has it taken me this long to try Costco's Mesquite chicken wings? They're AWESOME.

Hi anon! Thanks for asking. It took nearly 4 months (120 days) for me to lose 24lbs on keto. I ate at a calorie deficit the whole time.

Holy cannolli, these are GOOD. These almonds fill the same tangy flavor profile of salt and vinegar potato chips and they were only $2.80 at Walmart (and 2 net carbs per serving!!).
Congratulations on reaching your goal weight! You must be so proud of yourself and what you've accomplished! Not only the weight loss part, but setting a goal and working towards it and not giving up, that's so great.

I hit my initial goal weight today. It’s a weird feeling. I am more proud that I made a decision to change something in my life… then I stuck to that change for 120 days.

Back to basics with another bunless burger. I fell in love with this place when they agreed to substitute crispy brussel sprouts for fries. This one’s a keeper.
😱 I found these at my Whole Foods on my third try. They had two pints of Lemon Cake in the very back of the freezer. 2/$6, I’m gonna be nursing these babies for a long time.
My fridge and pantry were very bare and neglected, so this was my meal before grocery shopping. I think I popped my server’s bunless burger cherry. I forgot to ask for no ketchup, but that’s okay.
I’ll note that you can easily get away with ordering this burger normally and de-bunning it yourself. There are two cheese slices on it and neither are making contact with bread.

Revisiting yesterday’s instant miso soup. It’s as easy as dumping the garnish and miso packets in, chopping up fresh tofu, and boiling water. Pure low calorie magic.
