“Yes, Jungkook, ‘love stuff’,” Taehyung reiterates, a small, amused smile dances on his lips. “A broken heart that’s trying to piece itself back together, I guess you could say.”
Alternatively: A story about two boys falling in love - a sweet boy who thought nobody would ever be able to see him, falling in love with the sad boy who thought nobody could ever truly love him.

And it’s safer this way, to let himself partake in the fantasy of a letter and hoping that someone reciprocates his feelings rather than to actually send one and deal with the consequences of it afterwards.
