“The wyverns of Sothoryos fly on great leathery wings, have “cruel” beaks, and an insatiable hunger. Despite being unable to breathe fire, these animals are the reason Sothoryos is so thinly populated. The swamp wyvern is among the largest species.”  I thought I’d finally tackle these guys. It was interesting trying to figure out how to implement a beak into a dinosaurian like skull but overall I’m really happy with how this came out. Hope you guys like!

A Dark Souls DnD sketch commission of giant statue built into a mountain range with tons of dungeons and secrets inside. Leviathans are described as the oldest and largest creatures living in the entire world, implying they even surpass dragons in size.  So the most obvious real-life animal this could be is a sperm whale, but that’s boring and this is the world of Ice and Fire so we gotta do something cool and fantastical. I figured doing something that would basically be a larger, more evolved, and elongated Livyatan melvellei.  insta - @kevincatalan
