I feel like all the people that hate on heated rivalry truly don't see the good it brought into the world. All the negative things brought from the show were already apparent and people blaming the show instead of fighting against it are digging their own grave.

I still remember those november to feburary months of pure bliss, hearing I'll Believe In Anything everywhere. Watching athletes feel safe enough to come out. All the pride protests popping up in the middle of winter. People realizing things about themselves. There was so much positivity.

Now, we are still combating the usual homophobia, but with a touch more fetishization. Hey people, we all loved Call Me By Your Name, but that existed there too. We can't fight a war by saying "omg it's a war I can't believe we ALL have to fight in this." Accept that queer culture is here, will recieve backlash, and JOINING the backlash is not gonna help our part at all.

I don't know. I get comments on my tiktoks often about how terrible Heated Rivalry was for the community. I think the opposite. It was real. It gave a home to so many people out there. It gave a home to me as well. I don't even have an idea how they see Heated Rivalry bad.

It does disgust me how some people respond to the show. I do see weird posts about the characters, even their actors.

But, focusing on the negative gets us no where. I will forever be grateful for this show.

Can't lie, this one shocked me. I really loved the first chapters, but then something definitely shifted. The writing going from a thousand words per chapter to +10k per chapter was definitely strange. Seeing this especially in the newer chapters, how she was pumping out super lengthy chapters in such a short notice. Not to mention, the writing was totally unreadable at a lot of parts. Hey wheezingwheeler, you had an amazing idea! Too bad you killed it with ai. If anyone disproves this, my humble apologies, but my eyes are opening.
