Where’s Hawkeye been all this time?

I did a last-minute Avengers photoshoot at a theater on Saturday where a bunch of my cosplay friends were gathered to hang out at the theater in costume and take photos with patrons. These guys are some of my favorite folks, and of course they include my favorite character, Captain America!
I'm currently editing photos from my Star Wars photoshoot yesterday, and I thought I'd draft a quick tutorial on how I edit lightsabers in Photoshop.
You can find the full tutorial on Imgur: https://imgur.com/a/Q7ODKHU

My buddy got POTG with his Pharah, and this was my view of the chaos. What’s not included is the insane yelling between the two of us and then the hysterical laughter as the other team just basically went “welp, that was cool.”
Alternative coin design using the clan’s logo and stuff.
Can you tell I really like simple designs?
Now onto designing coins.
Designing shirts for my clan. Also they might look weird if you don’t click on them directly since they’re saved in CMYK.

Alright folks.
Lemme tell you about Iden Versio.
A long time ago, like sometime last year, the first reveal trailer for Star Wars: Battlefront II came out. And I was all like, that’s cool, I love video games, and I’m a huge Star Wars nerd always looking for another cool Star Wars cosplay to add to the roster, so let’s check it out.
And right off the graphics are gorgeous, and I love the vibe, and then these super cool TIE pilot-like characters come on screen, and they’re Special Forces, and I’m thinking, OK, this might be the second Imperial armor set I possibly consider (was already looking at a shoretrooper rig, but whatevs).
But then...then one of the characters takes her helmet off. And it’s a woman. With darker skin and dark eyes and dark hair. And I have zero idea how to explain to you the shock and thrill I felt at seeing her face for the first time. Immediately, I said “I’m cosplaying her” out loud and made a promise to myself do so.
Every time I wear this costume, I feel so happy. I can’t explain it. Some people think having diverse representation in the media we consume is silly and too “politically correct,” that people can be “colorblind.” And while I 100% agree cosplay is for everyone, and you should cosplay characters that you love regardless of race or gender, there’s something empowering about being able to cosplay a character you look like. It’s magical and amazing.
And I just wanted to share that with y’all.
Along with these awesome photos from an awesome photographer. :)
I had four cookies for breakfast and hung out with some Sith at a Megaplex this morning in support of a young, terminally ill Star Wars fan.
These events are always tough when you know the special fan is counting down the weeks or days left. It helps to have a helmet on and good friends to make it a little more lighthearted.
Also hey! My first troop as Iden! Hopefully full approval is just around the corner!
Did a test run of all the pieces. Pauldron will be finished up in the next day or two. Also yes, the TD was upside down and one of the side panels came loose (has since been fixed to be more secure). It was snowing heavy on and off at the meetup and we were running out of light, so we did them quick. Also included the back photos to show how freaking high the helmet sits, so you can totally see my neck and hair bun, since that was a discussion in the Inferno Squad Facebook group. I need to adjust the cover on the boot zippers, too. But she's almost there!
Installed stronger, larger magnets for the chestbox.
As of now, I’m just waiting for my leather guy to finish the holster and pauldron, and then the plan is to take application photos on Saturday.
She’s almost there!
