Okay, so you all know what to do
The lack of ironheart/ riri edits are concerning… I know all we got are trailers and tv spots but I’d expect more. Hopefully more people will be on it when the first episodes release 2night
“Harley would be so much better than Riri Williams”
Most fans didn’t remember Harley existed after Iron Man and just want to hate on Riri

Mini rant. (This has no spoilers for Thunderbolts btw but just what early reviewers say)
Am I the only one who is lowkey upset that early reviews for thunderbolts is hyping up the movie up saying it’s “perfect” and “the best mcu project since endgame” While Cap BNW recieved nothing but hate :(
Don’t get me wrong, I’m super excited for Thunderbolts, I love my baby girl Bucky and Yelena and just everyone and their chaoticness! However I’m just more upset at the fact that basically all the early reviews for Cap BNW were negative. After I watched the movie I loved it, I told my roommate that I might be a little biased because I ADORE Sam and said I loved the movie, it was really fun. And he said “Im not biased and I’d give it a solid 8/10 because a 10 would mean it was perfect”. And he’s a comic book NERD (I mean this in the nicest way possible :)) like I enjoy comics too but he knows like EVERYTHING and he usually critiques stuff so I was impressed that BNW was an 8 to him. So yeah, I’m not sure if I’m like the only one who feels like this but BNW recieved way too much hate and it’s just upsetting. Again I want to clarify I mean no hate to thunderbolts, im just upset at the fact that they’re recieving more love/care than Sam did in BNW. That’s all!
Reblogging this again, closer to Iron Heart because it’s the same thing happening 🗣️ Iron Heart comes out in like a week, there were like only two trailers which they started to do this month and barley any promotion… like they wanted us to forget this was dropping. I loved riri’s introduction in wakanda forever, her character seems like so much fun!
I don’t know much about her comic roots but I read one of the champions comic runs and I fell in love with her. And for the people saying they can’t love her because she’s “replacing” Tony stark: first of all she’s not, she’s not taking over Tony’s legacy just because she’s creating armor, I know her comics roots she was tied to Tony’s ai and was his mentee or something like that but clearly that’s not happening in the show so she’s not replacing him. Second of all, even if she was replacing Tony, like Sam replacing Steve, yall need to get over it.. this is coming from someone who has adored the mcu, marvel cartoons and the og avengers since they were little. Some of y’all can’t accept change :/
Ash get your ass here already Tf??
lord, I need Danny Ramirez' Ash Garver in ways that concern humanity
I will however say that I LOVE that this is the banner for the event. This guy looks AMAZING.
At least someone has some damn respect.
Fun fact, found some comic dog tags for Sam today, and he was labelled as Falcon. He is literally Captain America in the bloody comics! Joaquín Torres is Falcon. How is this so difficult to get? Why not just put Cap (Sam) and Cap (Steve)? Nobody is trying to erase Steve, just acknowledge Sam is also Cap.
Yuh..
Yeahhhh Joaquín got me loving Danny 🫠 (I also really love Ash 😮💨)
Dragula- Ash No Exit
Look give me five mintues and he might be less evil---sorry what?
Thunderbolts Spoilers Ahead
Follow up on my post I made more than a week ago, a lot of racist marvel fans are coming out of the woodworks. So, I’m just gonna say this. Why is it that, and stay with me here, people are kinda of jumping on this Sam Wilson hate train? I thought y’all were Team Cap, but since it’s not Steve, suddenly, Sam is in the wrong? How’s that work?
It all stems from racism, but y’all aren’t ready to hear that nor are you ready to actually listen. I will, once again, reiterate that here two movies can be seems as two sides of the same coin in the sense of empathy and compassion. In Captain America: Brace New World, the movie plays with that fact that Sam has a tendency to take down his opponents, rather than just going in guns blazing, which is also seen in TFaTWS with Karli. And when that doesn’t work, then he will fight, but it has a tendency to work when needed. The same thing happened in Thunderbolts; the team tried to fight sentry, and when that didn’t work, they tried empathizing with him instead. It’s the exact same plot device. No way around it. But for some reason, people tend to flock towards Thunderbolts more, and maybe it has something to do with how some people have started infantilizing Bob. Just something I’ve noticed.
I guess all this to say, the next year is going to be very rough next year for POC marvel fans, especially with how the Iron Heart trailer was perceived, but it seems, once again, that these projects have been put on the back burner for Marvel Studios and Disney. Which is really unfortunate, because the amount of promotional work that was put towards Eternals, which I’m pretty sure is not getting a sequel or a series, rather than something fans could get behind.
Just a little tidbit while I’m at work. Nothing serious, and y’all don’t even have to take me seriously, but ya know… movies.
This!!! And it sucks because since poc (and women) led movies and series get sooo much (undeserved) hate, the more we will see less and less poc representation. I’m really hyped for iron heart, I loved her in wakanda forever, and I already see her getting sm hate and it’s genuinely disappointing!!
You know something that pissed me off with the Brave New World release was when the post credits scene came out and people were like “I can’t wait to see Bucky”, “ I’m only going to watch the movie for Bucky” or when they did watch it and said Bucky was the best part! HE WAS THERE FOR LIKE 10 SECONDS! Like people are you kidding me?! Like I know people can have a favorite character but it was just weird. Like they were undermining Sam. It was just so weird to me how people made a Sam Wilson, a black man’s movie, about a white guy! And I don’t want a single person saying to me about “your playing the race card” or “ playing the victim card” cause you know them doing that was sketchy and weird.
This!!
i need Marvel to stop disrespecting Sam Wilson. if Steve Rogers was still Captain America he wouldn't be subjected to the bs Sam is.
A date at the duck pond.
A commission from the AMAZING @andruillus , who’s been so good.
(Also thanks to my brother @stillnotyourmusebitch for doing the human interaction parts for me. 😖)
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH THEYRE SO CUTE EEEEE🥺🥰
Omg we're on the same wavelength re: Thunderbolts and CA:BNW! Low key I feel like BNW was set up to fail in a lot of ways and I could kind of tell from a mile away that they'd be received differently. Having not seen it yet, just from the marketing and behind the scenes alone, Thunderbolts feels like Marvel's first honest attempt at a mainline story since the end of the MCU's heyday. I just don't feel like Sam's Cap or Joaquin are being given the same care :( On top of that, I feel like they're two characters facing an uphill battle as things are. I personally loved watching it and even though it's my least fave Cap movie and I know I'm terribly biased toward Team Cap, I feel like it was a pretty solid entry. With the space to flesh out the characters' actual stories/background/motivation, more practical effects and less botched marketing, I feel like it would have been very well received. Plus the box office numbers are (imo) incredible but because the movie cost like $425 million to produce it's being treated as a flop. I wish it didn't matter but if there's any hope of seeing a Cap/Falcon flick in the future I know that will be a consideration.
And that's not to take anything from Thunderbolts, I'm excited to see it and I'm sure it's just as fun! I just don't understand why BNW's production efforts seem so hamstrung in comparison. :(
Yes! Honestly, I was pretty nervous about making the post, because I didn’t want to be a “salty hater” I’m genuinely excited for Thunderbolts, however it’s heartbreaking to see that CA:BNW got so much hate, when it was a pretty great film, not perfect but still good. It’s also with the premiers and stuff too, I feel like they’re making the thunderbolts a big thing and I don’t recall BNW anything close to this much publicity :/
