Well, I read Wasteland, Baby (I'm in Love with you) and was inspired by it. It's not close enough to original, but I really wanted to draw Vax making some tricks in air (*/ω＼)

Sooooo... I had this drawing collecting dust in my folder since last year, I swear I was going to finish it, but then weeks passed and then stopped drawing regularly and yadda, yadda, so I finally admited that I never going to finish this piece so might as well publish it because there's so little perc'ildan art these days.

The plot is about a fairy tale type of story, in where Percy is a prince that is desired by everybody because of his beauty and inteligence, but he rejects all proposals because he doesn't want to become anyone's prize. Enter Vax, son of the Raven Queen, and true to his raven nature, loves to possess precious shiny things. So one night, he sneaks in Percy's room with the intention to seduce Percy and have him all to himself.

@ahmoseinarus I swear I made this before I read your fic "Candle In The Dark", but this is how imagine Percy and Vax first encounter 😊

Like all good fairy tales, ours begins in a shining castle in a far away land – a story you may have heard many times before, of Whitestone’s ruling family, ruthlessly put to rest. But this particular telling hums a slightly different tune, one of its sole surviving heir afflicted with a horrid curse, left to haunt the empty hall of his ancestral home, alone.

As time passed, he fell into despair, and lost all hope. For what chance did he have of mending his family’s legacy, of scrubbing clean the shame he had brought to their name.

And that is where our story begins, as the actions of one soul, change the fate of another.

Imagine you're a resident of Whitestone. Probably just a simple farmer or something, you know, just trying to make the best living you can out of your situation.

You have lived under the tyranny of vampires for years, and your city basically erupts into war against an undead army. It's only afterwards you hear it's because the long-thought-dead prince son of your city's ruler had come back to take back his city.

And when it's all over, you're in one of the still-standing bars and just trying to get a drink to nurse trauma and injury, and that very prince walks in with his buddies and politely asks for a brawl.

"Sweetheart, darling." Vax peppers Percy's brow with kisses. "Wake up. We're in a library dearest. The Cobalt Soul library." He says as his hands wander lower.

"Muh..." Percy blinks awake, still half asleep. "What? Where are we? This isn't my bed." He looks like he might fall right back asleep.

"Gods you're hopeless in the mornings. Percy it's nearly lunchtime." Vax says with a slight laugh.

"No it's nap time." Percy turns over and tries to go back to sleep. However, his stomach growls. He sighs. "Maybe it is lunchtime." He pushes himself upright, hair a mess, glasses askew. His eyes are still half closed. "Where's the kitchen staff?"

"Freddie, my darling, we'll have to go to the canteen. With all the trainees." Vax says, barely holding in a laugh.

"Trainees? I'm not part of the Pale Guard." Percy blinks slowly. "Don't be stupid, Vax." He tries to lay back down.

[vax-the-menace]

"Right. Up. Percival we're in Rexxentrum." Vax says, standing and trying to pull Percy up.

"What incredibly cool library is in Rexxentrum Freddie?" Vax asks pointedly.

"The library of Wildemount," Percy answers sleepily. That is not a real library. He's being stupid. After a few seconds, his eyes shoot wide open. "Cobalt Soul?!"

[vax-the-menace]

"There we go. Yes Cobalt Soul. Because I'm literally that charming that I've managed to get you access for the next few days." Vax says with a small smile.

"Now, lunch? And then I suppose you'll want to get started."

Percy scrambles out of bed. "No time for lunch!" He looks around wildly. "Where are my clothes? Only a few days, yes? I have to get started immediately!"

[vax-the-menace]

"Sorry dearest, meals are not optional. The entire library gets closed during meal times." Vax says with a laugh, handing him his trousers.

"This will be good for you. An enforced break."

"A break?!" Percy grabs his pants and puts them on. "I haven't even started yet." He grabs a shirt from the closet, which Vax had kindly organized while he was asleep. "This is bullshit."

[vax-the-menace]

"I know sweetheart. It's terribly unfair." Vax says fighting laughter.

"It's almost like you slept for the whole morning or something. Considering we arrived 4 and a half hours ago..." Vax says, smirking.

[lord-of-whitestone]

"What?!" Percy looks out the window. "Oh gods... It is mid day. I was so tired I didn't even... Fuck!" He buttons his shirt quickly. "Fine. Food. Then books." He pauses and turns to Vax. "You understand I will not be spending any of the next three days with you, outside of meals and sleeping, yes?"

[vax-the-menace]

"Darling, I got you a three day pass to an extremely secretive library. I'll be flattered if you even remember I exist. I have plans of my own, don't worry." Vax says with a grin. He kisses Percy softly on his cheek and then swats his ass. "Now go. You have half an hour to eat and then about 6 hours until dinner."

Lmao Taliesin confirmed that Percy always hears Vax's voice in his head XD but since the incident at the tomb, it's got really quiet lately :(
