Planets Legacy Challenge ☆
Welcome to the Planets Legacy Challenge! This challenge was written by @grnitefalls, @simbee, and @oxkenstead ! If you are going to play this challenge use the tags: #planetlegacy and #plc1, #plc2 (the number representing the gen # you are on!)
Basic Rules-
1. No money cheats except for freerealestate for your first house
2. You can live in whatever world you want to
3. Keep the lifespan on normal.
4. No cheating!
5. You must use the traits/aspirations/careers given! The only exception is if you don’t have the pack they come with!
6. You may use any gender for these generations. If you’re playing a sim who can’t get pregnant, get another sim pregnant and care for the baby.
Gen 1- The Moon
You were always an outcast growing up, you and never had many friends. You’ve become very envious of the life other people get to live, even though you’d rather stay by yourself. Your dream has always been to build a rocket and go to space, so why wait around?
Traits: Loner, Geek, Jealous Career: Astronaut Aspiration: Renaissance sim
Rules:
- Must build a rocket with ALL the upgrades - Max Rocket Science skill - Never have any friends (excluding aliens and family members) - Finish Astronaut Career - Go to Sixam and befriend 2 aliens - Get married as an Adult - Finish Renaissance Sim aspiration
Gen 2- Mercury
Sadly, growing up with one parent being pretty lonely had an effect on you. You feel isolated as well, leaving you to fill the void with anything related to books. Since you read books so often, you decided to start writing them. Since you’ve never really had much interaction with others, you find it hard to socialize and be romantically involved with your partner, so you end up ruining every relationship you’re in. Thank god for your books.
Traits: Non-committal, Bookworm, Clumsy Career: Author Aspiration: Bestselling Author
Rules:
- Be in three different relationships before finding “the one” - Have at least two children (one of them before finding “the one”) - Read every book that comes in the bookcase when you first buy it - Finish Author Career - Max Writing Skill - Write books about your children since they’re the light of your life - Finish Bestselling Author aspiration
Gen 3- Mars
Your parent was a famous author, so you’ve grown up with no shortage of cash (you even have a book dedicated towards you!) Since you’ve always been used to the being best, you will not settle for anything less. You plan to join the business career, but since you’ve always been so career driven, it’s hard for you to be able to find someone that respects you and your snarky personality, and it drives you mad.
Traits: Mean, Hot-headed, Materialistic Career: Business Aspiration: Mansion Baron
Rules:
-Have every one of your romantic relationships end with an argument (however many you have) -After having kids, get a divorce because your s/o complained about how you never pay attention to them -Have a complicated relationship with your co-workers (you’re very competitive) -Never pay much attention to your kids (you’ve been so focused on work) -Complete Mansion Baron Aspiration -Complete Business Career -Get to lvl 5 of Charisma Skill (at least) -Never take a vacation day/family leave
Gen 4- Venus
Having a career driven parent rubbed off on you. There was always someone cleaning up after you, so you have any problem being messy. You enjoy going to the club with your friends and dancing it out, but you never do it when you have work the next day. Unfortunately, your undercover career doesn’t please your “lunatic” parent. But you love what you do, and nothing will change that.
Traits: Dance machine (outgoing if you don’t have GTW), Ambitious, Slob Career: Secret Agent Aspiration: Fabulously Wealthy
Rules:
-Have an on and off relationship with your mother -Experience “love at first sight” and marry them right away -Have triplets that argue constantly (feel free to cheat for this) -Master secret agent career -Go to club on off days with your friends until you get married -Max Dancing Skill -Complete Fabulously Wealthy Aspiration
Gen 5- Earth
You’ve felt like the odd one out in your family. You always argued with your siblings, since you knew you were right it left you to be alone most of the time, enjoying nature. You did grow up wealthy, so you enjoy the finer things in life. No shame in that, right? You’re very overconfident and have lots of friends.
Traits: Snob, Loves Outdoors, Self- assured Career: Tech Guru Aspiration: Friend of the World
Rules:
-Have three good friends -Have at least two pets -Marry a musician -Master Tech Guru career -Complete Aspiration -Be in a club with your and gather at least once a week to enjoy outdoor activities
Gen 6- Neptune
Your parent was very overconfident and out there. You? Not so much. No matter how hard you try, you just can’t flirt for the life of you. But that’s alright, at least you’re a good cook.
Traits: Unflirty (clumsy if you don’t have CL), Perfectionist, Vegetarian Career: Chef Aspiration: Masterchef
Rules:
-Have one long-lasting relationship during high school but they break up with you once you’re a young adult -Have a successful 5-Star restaurant -Have multiple failed attempts at relationships before finding someone unflirty just like you -Complete Aspiration -Master Cooking, Baking and Gourmet Cooking Skill
Gen 7- Uranus
Your parent owned the best restaurant in town, so you had no problems with eating good food or any food for that matter. Unlike your parent, you have quite the flirty side to you and have an eye for expensive things. Except you don’t like to buy them-you prefer the thrill of the steal.
Traits: Romantic, Glutton, Kleptomaniac Career: Entertainer Aspiration: Serial Romantic
Rules:
-Eat practically any food you encounter -Never marry- you’d get too bored. You like to experience different people. -Get pregnant with twins after a “one-night relationship” (one night stand) -Master entertainer career -Always stay out late looking for potential hookups (or relationships) until you have kids -Once you have kids, go out one night a week looking for a potential hookup (or relationships) -Complete Serial Romantic Aspiration
Gen 8- Saturn
You didn’t grow up with a parent around, so you only had your sibling-which sadly you fought with 50% of the time. You’ve always had a thing against your sibling since they were always the better one. Good grades, good job, good person. But, they were all you had, and you still loved them. You were eventually steered down the wrong path and made a bad career choice. But whatever? It’s fun being the villain.
Traits: Outgoing, Lazy, Insane
Career: Criminal
Aspiration: Chief of Mischief
Rules:
-Live with your twin until you marry someone-then kick them out -Complete Chief of Mischief aspiration -Complete Criminal Career -Marry a good sim -After you have your first kid, makeup with your sibling -Have your spouse find out about your real career- you will never be the same after this, though you don’t divorce them for the sake of your children. -Have 3 children
Gen 9- Jupiter
You grew up with your two other siblings. You always knew that your parents were fighting, no matter how much they tried to hide it. But, because of this, your siblings and you grew close. You love your siblings. Your parents kept fighting, so you found your escape in exercise since it helped you relieve stress. You decide to give your children the love that you never got as a child.
Traits: Gloomy, Active, Childish Career: Athlete Aspiration: Bodybuilder
Rules:
-Max Athletic Skill -Have 2 of your children gain a positive trait (like responsible) -Marry an artist -Have 4 kids, one set of twins (feel free to cheat for this) -Have family dinners at least one night a week -Complete BodyBuilder Aspiration -Complete Athlete Career
Gen 10- The Sun
You grew up very close with your family members. They were your best friends and the only friends you needed. They made you feel like every planet orbited around you. You always admired your parent’s artwork, so you felt inspired to become an artist yourself! You loved having a close family growing up, so you pushed those ideas onto your kids.
Traits: Goofball, Family-Oriented, Good Career: Painter Aspiration: Big Happy Family
Rules:
-Have 5 children (one of them being adopted) -Build a memorial/cemetery for the past generations -Master Painting Skill -Have family night once a week (you can choose the activity) -Have every child be very close friends -Marry a bro sim -Master Painter Career
