Well, call it self preservation. I wouldn't let anyone die purposely. As if it was me or them, we both get out or no one gets out -- but I will protect myself at all cost. I know Elena -- though she seems a bit....child like due to her new current state.
As you said, even if you were a silly gnome, they’d still love you. As soon as we get out of here you should reveal yourself, tell them what you did in order to protect family. You’ll live much more happily after that, don’t you think?

I would live a much more happier life -- but I don't want them to feel responsible for this. It wasn't their fault. My family has a habit of feeling worse if they knew it was centered around them -- and wearing their emotions on their sleeves.
Well, rough..sort of. We're just tougher than most because foreign countries go through a lot more than most. Yeah, that's him -- why do you know him?
"I didnt like it in the begining, I took on this curse as revenge—but over time its grown on me. The memories I have—have made me who I am." He said truthfully, and it was correct. If he hadnt lived this long he’d be a figment of their imaginations a ancestor no one knew, or remembered. When he felt his lips curve and he nodded, "Yeah I appear human—call it camoflauge…really the stove gave me away?" He said chuckling slightly before shrugging, "I am the same person, different body. Basically." He finished crossing his arms, when he felt a small laugh come from him. "I dont have a personal preferrence, just change the channel when Im watching tv without asking and we’ll be fine."
"But now...you do?" She questioned as she began going through the cabinets -- noticing all are empty. She still likes the taste of human food, even if she doesn't need it. "Dammit, they're all empty." She said sighing, knowing now she's gonna have to go to the grocery store. "Before you judge, I still like the taste of human food." She said holding a hand up and then she nodded, "Usually, only wolves, humans or witches go for the things that make food -- since they do have to eat." She said closing the final cabinet, "How 'bout I do it when you're not looking? You'll never know."

❀--When Kiana get's attached to you, she thinks of you as family. Very protective, she'll think no one is good enough for you. She will be that type of person that will go out of her way to investigate any person you're with to make sure you're safe. God help the person if she finds anything sketchy. She has a thing for main arteries.
"Not saying that I should—but its my job." He stated, and that it was he was kept alive to guard the witches of this time—to protect those who needed it. To keep a balance between whatever force was going on in the world, it was their duty and now that there were barely any left….it was becoming harder and harder to find a reason to come back. "We dont give off a scent—allows us to move around as if we’re human and blend in. " His dark eyes looked to her before focusing back onto the stove top, the dull paint rusting slightly as he scrubbed at it. "Ah, yeah we do. We die mutiple times and come back—we live different lives after each death." His eyebrow raised, "We’re the same person, same personality, same face, same memories—only small things are different about us..height, hair color, eye color..things like that." Tossing the rag into the sink he crossed his arms again turning to lean his back on the stove and counter, "Hence I dont see you as a threat—or likely to piss me off." With a chuckle he nodded, "Yes its a compliment, Ive met vampires who were way older than you they didnt take that comment so lightly. Touchy I guess."
"Do you like it?" She asked, "Do you like being what you are?" She was very curious about his life -- though he could probably kill her with a fatal wolf bite -- he didn't seem like the type that has that type of mentality. "That's why I was wondering who you were, well-- what you were. You looked like a human and attacking the stove first to clean -- that kind of gave you away." She said with a bit of a warming smile. "So you remember everything, you're the same person -- just in a different body? Basically?" She asked trying to make sense of this all. She leaned over the counter and dropped the dirty, filthy towel into the trashcan, "I could be an old hag mentally, but a teenager physically -- so your pick on that one."
"—Ahh.. I’m… Okay I am. But hey at least something productive came out of it right?"
"--You really shouldn't care about this guy. Letting him rule your life like that?"
He nodded, “More times than I could count, and thats not an exaggeration believe me.” Slowly he smirked almost, “Its extremely hard to keep me 6-ft under.” Sighing he knew this conversation would come up—it always did and he didnt simply hate the subject it was just tiring of how many people over reacted when they realized what he was. “Im a Soul Lycan…..great big wolf—my kind created werewolves they are our offspring when mated with humans—we’re basically the original werewolves.” He stated calmly watching her, hopefully she wouldnt over react who knew. “Just a few, but like I said if I dont find you a threat and you dont piss me off enough—you’re in the clear.” Chuckling he nodded, “I can tell—you’ve got no heart beat and your aura screams your age, no offence.” He knew even vampires could get offended about their age—many times he’d been slapped for that. Grabbing another towel he nodded wiping down the stove top.
"I believe you...that's just... hard to believe that someone can die that many times and keep coming back." She said as she grabbed a towel that obviously wasn't dusted and went to the sink. "No wonder why I couldn't tell what you were, I couldn't smell the usual stench wolves carry, but I could hear a heart beat...It was very confusing." She said turning on the water and dampening her towel. "So, you soul lycans can die and come back? Live for multiple years die and come back? Same person or different?" She wanted to know as much as she could, but she walked back over to the island in the middle of the kitchen and began wiping off the counter top. "I don't think I'd piss you off I kinda stay to myself." She said flipping the towel to the dry end and began drying off where she wiped off. "Oh gee, thanks. Is that a compliment?"
I’m officialy going crazy without someone to socialize with. Not to mention the lack of shops in this town.
Well... Elena managed to clean the house -- so I'm pretty sure the beach is the next resort.

"Yeah, exactly." He said nodding, the weapons had been from different eras some of the very first creation and others rarities that no one would ever find. He’d kept them all and for the memories—prices didnt mean a thing to him, but the people and memories that came with those items seemed like something special. "I was drafted into WWI when I was twenty two, I died two days before my birthday. I was buried with my dog tags as well as my friends—I came back for them later on. WWII I was twenty eight…I made it out my friends didnt." He said softly, at how many times he’d fought and won and lost it all to death, other men, and time itself. "I fought because—I refuse to sit on the sidelines when a war is to be won." Sighing his lip curved and he shrugged, "Whether you’re right or not—I prefer clean surroundings..OCD existed even in my day."
"Wait you died?" It was more realization that this man held some sort of supernatural being, but she couldn't figure out what it was. His smell was normal, it was as if he wasn't supernatural at all. "What...what are you?" The only way to die and come back -- that she knew of -- was with vampire blood in your system, in which you'd come back as a part of the living dead. But she heard a heart beat on him and he didn't have the usual stench she's came across with werewolves. "Determined, stubborn, bull headed -- all the reasons of not to cross you." She said gathering up personality traits that he had from his statements. "Obviously it existed, I look young, but I'm well over two hundred -- it existed in my day too." She leaned over and blew the dust off the counter top.
Well, my mother had hated me since I was human, then rejected me when she learned about me being the creature she loathed for so long. We’re really trying to improve our relationship as of late, though. Did I mention that my father tied me to a chair, tortured me with vervain and sunlight because he couldn’t accept the “monster” his daugther had become? He passed away last year, so we’re kind of cool right now. My point is that knowing there is someone in this world, no matter how far away, who loves you in spite of everything, is precious. Hold on to that.
Boys. Always breaking us in pieces and then out of nowhere, they simply leave. Who was this guy anyway? A Russian dude? - Me? There’s not much to say. I was living a mere life and my bigger problem was choosing the suitable make up to wear along with the outfits. Then my best friend fell in love with a vampire who, unfortunately, had a crazy emotionless brother who was seeking revenge. I had Damon’s blood in my system when his even crazier sociopath ex-girlfriend killed me to let everyone know she was back. And now I’m forced to live with both of them. Luckily I had someone who helped me deal with the situation and proved me that being a vampire isn’t that grievous.
But she loves you because you're her daughter, no matter what you are. Even if you magically turned up a garden gnome, she'd still love it. But vampires -- they don't exactly hold the best track record. Especially with all the movies that are bunch of shit out there. And knowing that her kind is first on your food chain is probably scary. My family doesn't know what I am, they think I died long ago, I change my name when I go over there. So -- it's an iffy thing.
No he actually wasn't. I wasn't allowed to date when I was in Russia, she thought guys would just impregnate me to keep their family line going. I don't blame her, guys in Russia and guys in America -- completely different. Polar opposites sometimes. I met this guy in America, when I first came over. He was different, I was human he was a vampire. Kol was his name. It sounds like where ever you lived before -- was pretty crazy.
He seems quite an interesting giant. Perhaps he will turn out be a precious ally within your house.
I wouldn't call it interesting. But he's definitely...something. I doubt he'll turn out to be an ally, it's every supernatural for themselves right now.
Cocking his eyebrow he counted the numerous dogs tags, jewels, and ancient chest pieces worn by royalty. His dark eyes looking to her before he grinned slightly, “Others—some royalty, some friends I lost when I fought with them in WWI and WWII.” He said shrugging, before nodding. “They’d piss themselves with excitement if they saw that trunk, Im one of the few that have helped keep the world in a blank of what has happened throughout the centuries. Mysterious happening, etc.” It was true—his kind did this to protect humans and keep their race and others secret, it was their job. “Possibly.”
"So like dog tags in a way?" She knew all about military, she came across several military men that were pigs and scum, but some were genuine and sweet. Most were damaged from what they saw, and deranged from PTSD. "You fought in WWI and WWII? That's...pretty cool, actually. So you have a ton of stories and a ton of wisdom..." Her voice trailed off with a minor smile that frosted on her lips, "Why would you do that?" She inquired, it was like a child, asking so many questions it was unbearable. Though she was well over two hundred, she still wanted to be as a sponge and absorb everything the world had to offer. "Possibly?" She said as she leaned over onto the counter and pulled a cob web off from the jar and the towel wrack. "I'm pretty sure I'm right."
His eyes roamed around the kitchen slash den, it was old. Creaky and dusty—rats scurried and he could hear the few bugs crawling in what he assumed was an attic space. It held a dreary look—but for now it was home, and he’d learned that home is what you make it. “Always.” He said chuckling before raising a eyebrow debating, “Maybe—just a few books, weapons, letters, jewelry—nick knacks Im sure archaeologist would love to get their hands on.” With a clear of his throat he pushed off from the counter and walk his way further into the kitchen, eyes looking over the stove. He was the only one who would actually need it, “True—but if you even open the door you might be avalanche-d.”
Weapons? He looked like someone who definitely didn't need weapons to protect himself -- he looked like the type that could handle himself on his own without the use of such things. "Jewelry? Yours or others?" The thought of men wearing jewelry just sounded weird but she tried to not sound so sexist as if a man couldn't wear things women did. "Ah, so keep it safe." She said softly. Her arms crossed across her chest, her fingers playing with the arms of her leather jacket. "I'm pretty sure, even with Skeletons -- it's the cleanest thing here."
Actually, we’re best friend since childhood! I don’t know Jameston, but since we’re not going anywhere anytime soon, I’m sure we’ll meet eventually.
No wonder why you two resemble each other. He's really reserved, he's older and a giant -- but I could be judging because I'm so small. He's really nice just comes across as one you don't want to get on their bad side.
