Here is my custom Frankenstein doll based on Guillermo Del Toro's movie. His outfit is from a pair of altered BTS doll pants, a Pullip corset top, and a custom fur coat I sewed myself and a pair of EAH doll boots I altered by gluing on fur and adding 1inch thich platforms to the sole.

This is more of a Monster High take on the design so he leans a bit more stylish than slavishly recreating his look as I wanted him to slot into my collection. I added the choker as a throwbgack to the character's early life in the film where he's chained up and thought it was a fun detail to add.

I really do love Guillermo Del Toro's work and have attempted to do dolls before but I felt really inspired to complete this doll the moment I saw the movie in theaters.

Tanya Mousekewitz Funko Pop x Monster High hybrid doll

A doll of Tanya had been in my brain for ages, and seeing this Tanya pop finally pushed me to make one. the sculpt isn't too bad for a pop, just don't look at her from certain angles...

I actually had to redo her eyes because the first attempt I got her eye color wrong.🤦 Her eyes in the movie are such a pale blue, she mostly looks like she just has black dots instead of irises at all, so I didn't realize until I found some higher quality clips.

Went with a slightly darker color so she wouldn't look like that one Miley photo. Other than that, she's pretty cute and I'm happy with her.

Miss Bunny in her newly knitted sweater 😍 I should play with her ear positions more but I was in a hurry between kid bedtimes 😅

I need to work on my collar band more, change the pattern plus maybe use smaller needles. Otherwise fairly pleased with the comfortable look.

I got a wig for my Grape from the Drink series from Ufdoll.

The weather is very nice and I decided to take some photos. As a plus another model joined me.

About a month? Two months? Sometime ago, @queenofsquids sent me a resin Peteena head made by @oak23

I promptly forgot to post about her, but I didn't forget her, and finally got her finished. She's on a Penny Proud doll body. I made her hair from wool yarn I had laying around.

I was pretty much winging this design as I went, so I'm super pleased with how cute she turned out.

I think the sitting girl with the devil horns is my favorite of the six.

My big secret is that I have an entire village of animal folk.

No, really.... This is only like 1/3rd of the whole thing. I'm not joking.

There are restaurants, houses, shops, mail carriers, farms, a school.... It even has an amusement park. I even gave all of them names because, why not? (I know they're already named, but I gave them new ones because I did.)

So yeah. That's my crazy big secret. It's also why the blog is called Sweetleaf Village.

I am blown away by this new neo eden doll.

She isn't strung like most of the chinese blind box dolls and her details are incredible.

I love the wings and her face is the sweetest. In my eyes she has a K-ON! vibe and that's really nostalgic to me. 🥰

Part of the reason why I started on these prototype bug girls is actually because I finished up on Treesa and wanted to buy one of her bug friends but the secondary market cost was so crazy, and that I realised that Wingrid shared enough similarities with the prototype girls that I decided to jumpstart this project.
