Does BK!Able have an episode 8 crash out?

I don't know Able doesn't have the same motivation as Caine so some pretty different stuff would have to happen for him to get to that point

Stuff like [Spoilers beyond this point]

The humans doing something that would make him question his motivation to continue his plot

Which would make him freak out and double down, drawing away even more from the humans

Which then results in them all confronting him and refusing to let him go

Causing him to have a break down over how they keep making him want to choose them and paired with him suddenly finding that Caine's box is gone (after a very concerning NPC encounter) and well let's just say a certain cast member may not be having a very good time

I think it would be interesting if when Caine gets out of the box, he’s absolutely terrifying to the humans. Maybe on his side, he went into his monster/god form to escape, and he’s glitchy and finicky. He’s still rough around the edges and hasn’t been around humans for decades trying to care for them, so just imagine them all freaking out thinking he’s about to kill all of them.

I actually have a design for Brother's Keeper Caine, but you're right about him appearing monstrous and the humans being scared of him when they first meet.

However, Caine will also be very scared of them and since Able won't be there (because reasons) things won't go too well.

I just found out about this AU, and I’m really interested! I’m gonna read the fic soon, but I NEED to ask this first:

Do the Sun and Moon exist? If so, do they know about Caine? What would they think of him?

Also I’m gonna glaze this AU rq, THIS AU IS FIRE AND THE IDEA OF ABLE AND CAINE BEING ON GOOD TERMS (or…well, at least on “we care about each other deeply” terms) NEEDS TO BE EXPLORED MORE!

Unfortunately, no the Sun and Moon don't exist in this AU

The NPCs Caine makes in the show have a very specific roll in this AU and I'm not sure if I can make them fit with what I'm going for

Able also made his world to be pretty boring (at least by his standards) because he believes under-stimulation is what causes abstraction, which he wants (or what he tells himself that he wants), so no wacky things like talking celestial bodies

Also yes I made this AU as kind of a subversion of all the AUs of the Blue AI hating Caine

I love those AUs, very good for yummy angst, but I also like exploring them loving each other as siblings

And as you can see from my AU that doesn't exclude having angst

BK!Caine would probably just let it happen at first because warm hugs and getting to see a version of him and his brother happy together, but also he'd be so worried about ruining this because he's convinced himself that's what he does

Is there something you’re really excited for in a future chapter that you’d be willing to share? (A revelation to the humans, a relationship between characters, adventures, etc?)

Oh boy

There's so much I want to talk about but I also don't want to spoil anything too soon

What I'll say is:

Able is terrified of the humans finding out about Caine, because even though these are not the same people who locked Caine away (well except for Kinger) it was still humans who did it and then reinforced their separation

So as the humans get closer to finding out what's really going on the more desperate measures Able will take to try and throw them off, including a version of episode 7

So I'm starting to draw the next part of my Beta Form Cain AU comic and I originally was going to have Bubble show up. However, Caine is doing pretty good at emotionally spiraling on his own right now and putting Bubble in isn't really going to advance the plot.

So in scenario 1 Caine is trying not to panic over what he overheard in the pillow fort, Bubble shows up to make it worse, then goes away when Ragatha shows up

In scenario 2 Caine is already panicking, Bubble is about to show up but he disappears before Ragatha can see him

Should I still put Bubble in?

Yes have Bubble hurt the boy

No move the plot forward

Also if Bubble doesn't show up in the next comic then he won't show up until the climax

Been debating when to show Brother's Keeper AU Caine design

I wanted it to be a big moment but I couldn't hold it back any longer so here's the boy

Some other things I forgot to mention above:

The cuffs on his gloves are meant to look like manacles, inspired by Genie from Aladdin

His tail involuntarily sparks when he's scared or feels threatened, makes him feel even more like a dangerous monster
