It always saddened her how quick Mizuki was to put herself down. Especially when her younger sister compared her to herself. They were twins, yes. Identical in appearance, but… completely different. Such differences should be celebrated. She wanted to encourage her sister to believe in herself more.
“You know I don’t agree with that. Your violin skills are so beautiful. You could never ruin it, you know! Plus music is meant to be shared with one another. When we play together, it’ll create harmony.“
{ ♫ } “I know, I know... But I still can’t help but feel like I’m dragging down your beautiful performance by adding my music to it. After all, you are the Ultimate Pianist.” To this day, Mizuki didn’t know how she had been dubbed the “Ultimate Violinist” by Hope’s Peak. Sure, she was talented, but the only “Ultimate” in this family was her sister. Every single moment of her piano playing was beautiful. She herself was hardly worthy of such a title.
“Like I said, I wouldn’t be opposed to it, if you really want to... Practice makes perfect, after all, and maybe with enough of it, my violin skills will match your piano skills. Wouldn’t that be nice?” She gave a small, nervous laugh.
