Pidge is definitely the more used to cuddling out of the two of them. For Keith it's all brand new, so much physical affection can get unnerving, but not from her.
Pidge will find any excuse to hug Keith, even doing so unconsciously. Movie nights, she will immediately shove her head under his arm, or just out and out sit on his lap and drag her arms around him so she can snuggle up. It is not unheard of for Keith to be talking to someone, and it could be anyone, including Iverson or her parents, and she will just walk up behind him, wrap her arms around his torso, and bury her face in his back until he is able to return the hug. Everybody seems to have got used to it though and don't mention it. Lance has started calling her the limpet gremlin, and while Pidge pretends to be annoyed she loves it. She will even sometimes just hop on Keith's back if they're walking through the corridors of the garrison or Atlas, because hey, it's still a hug, and she can get her dose of Kogane while on the move.
Keith is a little more subtle with his affections. He's not as afraid of PDAs as he was when they first got together, knowing Pidge gets a lot out of it and, if he was honest with himself, he did too. He loves nothing more than the two of them doing their own thing in down time, him reading reports, her working on her laptop, cuddled up together in a million different ways. Pidge's legs over his thighs, him sitting in the corner of one of the large couches with her between his bent legs, once, much to Lance's disgust, he found Keith sitting cross legged with Pidge in his lap facing him, her arms over his shoulders, his around her waist, and her legs around his. She was working on a datapad and he was reading, like some kind of simbiotic octopus.
But it has snuck into their lives and taken root without them realising, seeking one another's body heat and touch as a comfort to them both. Even if they are just standing around, team briefings, talking with others, she will slowly edge into his personal space until their bodies are overlapping, her body heat tempting him until his hands rest on her hips, waist, or shoulders, Pidge's face twitching with a hint of a smile when she gets her way.
They've never been told to stop, it has never affected their abilities or productivity in a negative way so no one has ever mentioned it, but it's there. Of everyone, Shiro has noticed the change in Keith the most. He seems more content, he can actually relax when he is with Pidge, his normally fixed shoulders loose, his voice warm and even playful at times.
And finally, spooning. They take turns. These two will hug every which way while sleeping, almost unconsciously. Neither of them wake up, but they often wake up in different positions that they went to sleep in, and it almost always coincides with what one of them needs. Pidge has a bad day? Keith holds her close to his chest, curling his body around her to let her know he's there. Keith is mad at something? Pidge will end up on top of him. he finds it hard to stay mad when the little bundle that is the one he loves is snoring away on his chest. The first time she spooned him, Keith memorised everywhere her body touched, what he could feel, and how she fit just as perfectly as when they were the other way around. For Pidge, it made her realise why he liked holding her like this so much. It was as protective as it was reassuring, and sometimes they would lay in bed, taking turns reading a novel that had piqued their interest, swapping position with each chapter just so they each got their turn.
