anyways brine has been updated!

One comes from a very conservative family where research takes the forefront. Her parents are reknowned academics who find the combative and loud lifestyle of Inkopolis distasteful. She sneaks out to participate in turf wars whenever possible, but she really can’t compete regularly as she doesn’t want to make too much noise and be caught (because, of course, she would dominate every time).

This makes her vicious when she does compete. Her natural ink color is a very pale, sterile silver, but she cloaks it with red whenever possible. With this, One changes her name to Brine, and commits to getting away from her oppressive family.

After a while, she takes her chance and joins a league team, which is when her brother, Zero, begins to suspect something’s up.He keeps tabs on her, at first horrified by her betrayal and blatant disregard of their parents and their rules, but he sees that she’s happier, so lively, a firecracker, all of which she hides when she’s at home.

In a display of solidarity, he surprises her by signing up for the final Splatfast, onto Team Order. It shows Brine and their parents that they can still be themselves, and support each other through their differences.

I have three new OCs- my sister has the Switch so I can’t make em and take pics but I Love Them

Brine is an extremely competitive Inkling lady, who’ll stop at nothing for a win. Like Skipper, she’s not a team player, but Brine takes it to the next level, and actively puts down and goes against her teammates. She loves tight fitting, aerodynamic clothes, preferably in the color red. She used to be a charger main but after seeing how much the bloblobber pissed everyone off she immediately bought one and never uses anything else. She’s put on a league team with 8 and Skipper and it makes Skipper realize how her selfish and lone-wolf behavior makes her seem. It brings her and 8 closer.

Star is an extremely tall Inkling with 0 combat experience. She comes from a more well-off family, and is new to Inkopolis. Instead of turfing, she is essentially a fashion blogger. She posts videos reviews and pictures of up and coming gear and weapons (even though she knows nothing about them). She’s big on Toni Kensa right now because of the recent hype. She acts high and mighty even though she doesn’t think she’s all that, and is actually a huge clumsy mess despite being very put together. If she had to pick a weapon it’d be a roller because they’re the easiest to use in her opinion. She is also transgender.

Finally, Caspian, an Octoling ex-soldier; his blindness made it difficult for him to succeed in the army, so no love was lost in him defecting. He WAS an incredibly capabale combatant, but his sisters thought his disability difficult to manage. On top of that, he’s trans, which insulted them in a way. He has a kind of doe-eyed naïveté inherent to Octolings new to Inkopolis, but he finds it difficult to trust others, making his second big transition difficult. He’s a big mess until he meets Star, who recognizes his struggle and decides to help him. He has no sense of style and prefers sleek, rapid fire weapons, even though it’s easiest for him to use a roller or brush. He loves the new homing sub because anything where he has to aim is obviously bad for him. He’s put on the league team with 8, Skipper, and Brine.

Tonight at 7pm PT, Version 4.1 will bring the 2nd batch of Kensa Collection weapons. This is a special line in which familiar weapons are equipped with different subs and specials. This time all 4 weapons will have either the new Fizzy Bomb sub or the new Booyah Bomb special!
