Am i the only one who thinks that 9 years old kids should’t know about The Pretty Reckless, their music/text/apperance is’t exactly the most innocent.

Piper's "job" is to interview bands. She doesn't have to know their music or be a fan of it to be able to ask questions of artists in the same way that Jimmy Fallon doesn't have to watch every movie/TV show, listen to every CD and/or read every book of every guest he has on his show. Piper DOES know Taylor from How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Spy Kids 2 and was excited to meet Taylor and ask her a few questions. Taylor was very sweet to Piper.
