Aqua hated hearing the fighting that was going on between her parents and her twin. Not because she hated fighting, but because her parents were in the wrong. They were upset that Kiera was a lesbian, when there was nothing wrong with that. While they were fighting, Aqua tried to drown out the yelling by practicing on her keyboard. Unfortunately, there was only so much that music could drown out. And the one thin that it couldn’t was the worst thing Aqua could here. Her parents were kicking Kiera out just because she wasn’t what they wanted her to be. Without her twin in the house, Aqua didn’t know what she could do. Kiera was the closest person Aqua had in her life, and without her sister she would be nothing.
When she heard her sister slam her door, the young girl made her way down the hall. She stood outside the door, not knowing exactly what to do or say. She just knew that she needed to talk to Kiera. “It’s Aqua… I just… uhm.. wanted to talk.. If you want to.” The girl replied in a quiet voice as she stood outside the door.
kiera opened the door and looked at her sister, ‘ come in. we wouldn’t want Benedict Arnold 1 & 2 hearing you talk to me. ‘ she rolled her eyes as she moved out of the way so aqua could come in, ‘ please tell me you think this is total bullshit? like it’s 2017. you’d think they’d stop being assholes. but no. i’m leaving tonight though, a, and not coming back. you don’t have to come with me but i’ll miss you. ‘ she told her twin sister as she pursed her lips together. she took her glasses off and set them down, rubbing between her eyes once again.
