Tell the world I'm coming home | Kieran&Sarah
"Why wouldn’t I cry over my Kieran?" She asked through soft sobs. There were so many emotions rushing about her, Sarah didn’t know what to do with them, she was kind of a mess. "But you know, you knew I wouldn’t leave unless you were right there. I had no idea where I was going—" She blinked his words registering in her mind. "Yes." She nodded breathlessly. "I would have have gone with you with only the clothes on my back, feet bare and that is still true My Kieran, I will go anywhere with you, and leave this wretched place behind. Anywhere you want to go, I will go, because my Kieran I love you."
Sarah let of him and stepped back looking around her house. “This time though, I think I will put on shoes.” She gave him a weary smile taking his hand and pulling him along to her room. She grabbed a back pack and started putting clothes in there, she moved to the bathroom grabbing essentials, she put a pair of shoes on and then moved back to her dresser pulling out the necklace Kieran had given her placing it around her neck. “I’m ready then.” She said with a teary smile.
"I don't deserve your tears, my Sarah. Not after I left you," he mumbled into her hair, closing his eyes for a moment. "I hoped you'd find courage to come and join us, my Sarah. After all I'm not gonna be around all the time..." he trailed off, realising he was probably just digging a bigger hole for himself. "We had to leave in a hurry," but he broke off with an intake of breath at her words. "You will come with us?" He repeated with a blink, before grinning. "You'll come with us. Oh my Sarah," he laughed in happiness for the first time in months, lifting her off her feet and spinning her around before he kissed her then set her down again.
He let her go, then nodded. "Shoes are good." Kieran leant against the wall as she moved around, glancing around the room he'd spent a good deal of time in as their relationship had taken off. Of course, she'd spent more time at theirs, after all, the Murrays had practically ran a hotel, but her home was nice. "You know it's not gonna be easy, Sarah? We haven't got a house or anything yet, we're living in hotels right now...just a warning.." he bit his lip as he offered his hand to her.

Red lips quivered and her small body shook, Kieran was standing right in front in her, she could not wrap her mind around the idea, the possibility that he was here. But arms wrapped around and pulled her close and Sarah stood there shaking until her small arms wrapped around him too, clenching his shirt afraid if she’d let go, he’d leave again or disappear. Tears fell down rosy cheeks and sobs were muffled as she buried her head against his chest. There were so many thoughts rushing about her head, none of the angry, just sad, so sad. She could not believe he was there, but he was and she never wanted him to leave again. Sarah let the fact her Kieran was back sink before she began to form words. If Sarah wasn’t so kind, she’d probably yell at Kieran, push him away, slam the door in his face and then cry asking to come back again but Sarah wasn’t about to do that, she loved Kieran too much to even think about such mean actions. She just held on to him for awhile before lifting her head to look at him, with large tear filled eyes.
"You left without saying goodbye. You were just gone and I didn’t know what to do, I couldn’t leave, not without you, and I would have. But you left, and I wanted you to come back and you did. You are here. You came back. Don’t leave me again. Please, don’t leave me again.
Kieran held Sarah close, his chin resting atop her head as he closed his eyes. "Don't cry, my Sarah...you shouldn't cry over Kieran," he protested, but fell silent after that. She was clinging to him as if her life depended on it, and Kieran wondered just how badly she'd taken their separation. Had it torn her apart as much as it had him? Evidently she had missed him, but he wondered just how she'd taken it. He made a note to ask at some point, but kept silent until after she had finished speaking.
"I know, my Sarah, and I am sorry. I wanted to come back in, I wanted to find you, but...we waited, we waited for nearly a whole day in the town. Douglas had to practically drag me out," Kieran paused, his mind processing what she said. "You would've come? Then come, my Sarah. We'll leave, now, together. Douglas is in the car...we can go wherever. We can fly around the world and see all the places you've wanted to see. We can...we can do anything, my Sarah. Anything."
Tell the world I'm coming home | Kieran&Sarah
The day Kieran left Sarah waited at that entrance, sitting in the rain, hoping with all her being that Keiran would return, that it was all a joke. And when night started to settle in she still did not stir. Barefoot and cold the dark hair girl waited for the boy she fell in love with to come back to take her away but as the shadows settled in it was time for her to leave. She got up and walked back to the apartment where Kieran asked her to live but he wasn’t there so she couldn’t be there, she dragged her feet back to her home and cried herself to sleep. For weeks she cried into a pillow case, first her Kieran gone then many of her friends, the circus becoming empty once more.
She tried to find a routine, get up, get dressed, go to work, come home sleep. Sarah put a smile on as often as she could but her heart was never in those smiles. As weeks turned to months she picked herself up a little bit each day, some days she’d crumble and have to start all over, but she tried, always feeling a little guilty if she was even a little happy.
Curled up on her couch the TV was on but she wasn’t paying attention, the noise was helpful in distracting her from racing thoughts she lay there when she heard a loud thump at her door. Getting up Sarah shuffled to the door opening it. Looking up Sarah’s broken heart stopped. She took a step back, then closer tears filled her big green eyes. She didn’t know what to do, it was a trick, simply a trick. Because at the door stood her Kieran. That wasn’t possible, but it was because he promised he would be back. Sarah didn’t know what to do. She stood there shaking and with a breathy whisper she mumbled “Kieran…”
Kieran had been wandering like a ghost for the three months he'd been away. His twin had tried and tried to cheer him up, but he himself was torn apart about leaving Eva. The twins were ghosts of themselves, haunted by their time at the circus. A real irony, since Kieran had left to escape the ghost lingering there. He didn't intend on taking too long at the circus, only to take Sarah's hand and bring her out as he had promised her. He didn't want to stay long enough to see the people he'd left behind, the people who he'd come to be closer to than he'd ever intended.
A rush of emotions hit Kieran in the chest as he set eyes on Sarah. She was so evidently different, visibly broken and he knew it was his fault. But he was here. He would fix things, he would. He had to. "Sarah...oh my Sarah," he mumbled, hesitating for a moment before he pulled her close and wrapped his arms around her. "Sarah, Sarah...I'm sorry, I'm sorry..." he whispered into her hair. Now he was back with her, he didn't ever want to leave again.
Kieran Murray was desperately, irrevocably in love. His world had begun spinning again, and though he knew Sarah was probably very angry at him, he couldn't help but be glad at seeing her again.
Tell the world I'm coming home | Kieran&Sarah
After months of Sarah always being there, to suddenly have her taken away was a real shock for Kieran's system. Somehow, he'd known that she'd be unable to make the trip out to town without him, but it was too late. He sat there in a cafe with Douglas for far longer than they should have, but eventually Douglas had to physically drag him away. He hadn't spoken since they'd left, only sat withdrawn in on himself. Douglas had wanted to leave, and Kieran agreed that it was probably best, but he didn't have the time to pull Sarah away from work and the decision to only leave her a note was killing him.
It had been three long months. They'd travelled, spent short bursts of time in different cities, but soon they found themselves near the Circus again. Douglas had noted how jumpy and restless Kieran got as they got closer in the direction of the Circus, and had said just one word. "Go."
Kieran took control of the car and sped down the highway, parking with a skid in the circus parking lot. Heads turned as he stalked down the familiar paths, but there was only one person he wanted to see. Winding down the hallways, Kieran found himself at the door and hesitated for a moment before knocking loudly on his beloved Sarah's door.
My dearest Sarah -
Please believe me when I say I didn't want it to come to this. I love you, Sarah, whole-heartedly. And I do not think I will ever love anyone else in the way I love you. Forming these kind of attachments isn't in my nature, as you know, my Sarah. You mean so much to me, more than anyone else ever could in that way.
I don't know how to...like, do this stuff. How to write letters and make them mean something, and write reams and reams. So I'll cut to the chase, Sarah. Douglas and I are leaving. Douglas made the decision, but without him, I would go insane. Especially with the ghost that has taken up residency here. At least out there we can run.
I will come back for you, my Sarah. And I will take you far, far away from here. We can run, we can visit all the places I promised to take you. I'll come back for you. And if - during the time I've gone - you find someone else, then I understand. I failed you in the ways you always wanted, someone to take you away.
We will be lingering in the town for a while, perhaps 12 hours or so. If you decide you want to come with us, then come and meet us there. If not...just remember that I love you always, my Sarah. And without you, I will always feel like there's a little piece of me missing.
Your Kieran.
Brokenness of the Mind | Kieran & Sarah
Her hands gripped at Kieran’s a little tighter. “Well if Farrah can’t him go away then Kieran we will find a way I promise, I promise on my life I will not let him harm you.” Her green eyes shifted around, “Do you hear me, you are not harming my Kieran, you shall not.” She spoke to the air. Her shadows danced excitedly never had little Sarah sounded so threatening, so sure of herself, they took off, leaving her alone, Sarah needed to care of Kieran right now, not be bothered by a pesky man who hid in darkness. “Oh my Kieran, do not fret,he will go away. This I promise.” her voice turned soft like a lullaby.
He clung to her as if his life depended on it, vulnerability clear in everything about himself at that moment. His voice was broken, his eyes held pain, and he could barely hold himself up. "I am afraid there might not be a way. What if he haunts me for the rest of my life, Sarah? What if he is always there?" His fear grew, grew far more at the idea of his father always lingering at the edges of his happy memories. He already haunted his memories and mind, without having a ghost form to actually haunt him with. "I do not know as he will..."
Brokenness of the Mind | Kieran & Sarah
Sarah wrapped her small arms around Kieran tightly and listened to him. She looked up at him, confused. “You saw a ghost? Your father’s ghost? How on earth is he haunting you? No. He must go away. He will not harm my Kieran any longer, he is dead and he must. That is final. She unwrapped her arms from around him and gripped his hands tightly, stomping her foot. “How can we make this better, how can we make him go away my Kieran. I will do whatever you need, I do not want you to have to suffer, tell me and we shall make it happen.”
Kieran rested his head against Sarah's lightly, giving a quiet mumble in response. "I saw his ghost. The first time, Farrah was there. She made him go away. But now he keeps coming back, whispering to me in my sleep. He spoke to me today, told me to run. I want him to go, I want him to go," he tried his best to stay calm, but he was getting visibly more hysterical as he spoke. "I don't know. I don't know how."
