Just someone who loves gaming, reading, and writing. And seems to have a thing for tricksters...and elves...and the occasional commander...
20s - She/Her
Obsessed with Dragon Age, Assassin's Creed, Baldur's Gate 3, Marvel, and many others.
Mainly a blog for sharing about my stories and characters, but also my love of a range of fandoms.
Well, I finally did it. I made myself a home here in the hopes that it will help me regain a bit of my writing heart after a very hard year. For a long time, I couldn't bring myself to write. Now that I have reclaimed many of my stories and begun to start anew, I decided to try finding more amazing things to keep my momentum and regain a piece of myself.
Ahem.
Let me try this again properly.
Hey, everyone! I'm Kiera. ^-^ I love stories and hope to be an author someday. I have a very active imagination and that leads me to create different scenarios for things, or create completely new stories off a few ideas. I hope that those who read my stories will have patience with me as I have a farm, and, as such, a busy life. I will update when I can, even if it takes a while. I prefer giving the time and attention my stories need to grow on their own rather than forcing them. So, I'm always extremely grateful for the patience of my readers. 🥰
I'm gonna be sharing story-related stuff on here, as well as admiring things from different fandoms I love. If you could tell, right now my mood is in Thedas. 🤭
I hope you all enjoy my stories and characters as much as I do!
Thank you for reading this far! 🤣🥰

“They think you’re a monster. Prove them right.”
The others turned their gazes upon Kirsi’s back, concerned at her unsettling silence as chills ran down their spines. Then, with a crackling echo, the bladed tip of her staff touched the ground. Ice spread in frosty waves, consuming the area around them in frigid, menacing spikes as far as their sight could reach.
But not a single shard touched the six of them.
“Mind your words, Nightmare. Unless you wish for a frozen wasteland as your domain.”
All that was to be heard in response was Nightmare’s enraged snarl as a section of his demesne was covered in winter, twisting the magic of its foundation.
Born to Clan Lavellan, Nesiya was inspired by the tales of heroes like the Grey Wardens and so took up the sword and shield, learning how to defend and protect. When the chance came to explore beyond her clan, she jumped at the chance, leaving on the Keeper’s orders to observe the Conclave and find out what would happen. In her early twenties, Nesiya was excited for her first true adventure, but it ended up being more than she had planned on (as well as far more dangerous) when she came across Corypheus and triggered the explosion that destroyed the Conclave.
Young and a bit sheltered, she has much to learn about the world beyond her Dalish clan. Not afraid to give as good as she gets and quick to use her talented tongue to prove herself a smartass, Nesiya must learn the more diplomatic skills she finds herself in dire need of to navigate the situation she is entangled in after the destruction of the Conclave.
“I don’t want to be a prophet… I don’t want them to place me on a pedestal… But nor do I want to betray their trust in me, their faith… They asked me to lead… What if I fail them? I can’t…”

Just a little dialogue from The Halla's Heart as I slowly reconnect with it after a break...🥺💕
"She shines like you, Solas. The Fade is her friend too. A constant companion, happily answering when she calls. It dances with her, snow upon the wind, shimmering like a morning frost under the sun. It shows her mysteries to ease some of her loneliness."

For the WIP guessing game: autumn, tears, potion, feather
I had quite the job searching for these. XD Didn't have all of them in one fanfic, so I am utilizing lines from both of my Dragon Age: Inquisition WIPs for this. I'll note which is which so there is no confusion. 😅🤣
However, I will apologize, as there is one word I was not able to find despite searching through multiple from my mountain of WIPs... I seem to have a need to remedy a lack of the word "autumn". O.O *notes down that I need to use it on occasion more often*
"Lady of the Fade" -
A flick of her fingers cleaned the rug under the desk, which had been soiled by the remains of her potion.
Her grip on the sword in her hand loosened, relaxed, yet still ready to take someone’s head at the drop of a feather.
"The Halla's Heart" -
“Solas…” Tears glittered in her eyes as she called out to him.
Thank you! I quite enjoyed seeing what words I do and don't have in my WIPs. Quite interesting to see. 🤣🥰💕

Rules: post the first line of your wip, the first line you worked on today, or any other “first line!”
Well, since I'm still trying to regain some inspiration to finish this chapter of The Halla's Heart, I think I'll do the chapter's first line for this challenge.🥰
This pup has much to learn, Kirsi thought as the enraged Avvar charged toward her, unheeding of his injuries. Once again, a dancing step moved her out of reach. But he is too arrogant to listen.
Thank you for tagging me! I know I haven't been active much lately, so I truly appreciate it. 🥺💕
Tagging (with no pressure) @teine-mallaichte @esther-on-fire @kcwriter-blog and anyone else who sees this and would like to try it.💕💕💕

She intended to leave as she had before, avoiding this elf who appeared to endeavor to throw her off-balance.
Only to find him following her.
Kirsi halted, turning on her heel to face him.
“Why do you persist?”
“You intrigue me.”
It was not the answer she expected. Her curiosity got the better of her.
“...How so?”
“You are Dalish, are you not?” He seemed both inquisitive and…suspiciously contemptuous.
“...I am.” Whatever happened that caused him to have such scorn for the Dalish?
Her response appeared to make him hesitate.
Kirsi straightened. A new calmness washed over her as, for a moment, she returned to the memories and mannerisms of her past.
“Ir abelas, Hahren. If the Dalish have done you a disservice, I would make that right.” She recognized the experience within his eyes, in the air with which he carried himself.
And she respected it.
He paused, momentarily taken aback as his seemingly growing anger dissipated. Then he sighed. “The fault is mine, for expecting what the Dalish could never truly accomplish. Ir abelas… Da’len.”
Ah. He speaks of how the Dalish imitate what little they know of the ancient Elvhen. He likely tried to teach them, only for them to refuse to listen. Her icy blue eyes darkened in contemplation. Indeed, he really is neither Dalish nor City elf, is he?
Unintentionally, Kirsi found herself taking a closer look at this elven mage for the first time. And she stared. At the ancient wolf jawbone on a length of leather cord which he wore as a necklace. The slim build of his body, in the prime of his life. At his cleft chin and elegantly tapered jaw.
Her gaze skipped past the beautifully shaped mouth that seemed to hold a hint of a smile, up his long nose, to finally settle on his deep-set pale grey eyes with their hint of violet at the center.
There was something…wolven about him. And it called to her.
Whether she wanted it to or not was a different story.
The Warrior of Light whose mantle grew too heavy...
The little sister who took up the mantle in her memory...
The moody Elezen Sage who wished only to wander and adventure...
The Elezen Black Mage, gentle and calm despite the storms she commands...
The Bard who grieved the loss of his sister…and rejoiced at her return...
Their stories will be told in the Tales of Moon and Shadow...
Hi, I'm Kiera. 😊 I decided it was time for a revamping of my introduction, since things have expanded far beyond Tsukia herself as more characters joined her story and brought along their own. In the beginning, Tsukia's story was far different, as she was not meant to become a WoL or have the Echo at all... But, things change and stuff happens in life, leading to the end of her elder sister's tale and Tsukia's own fate evolving along a new path. Despite how hard it has been for me to say goodbye to Seiren, I needed to in order to move on. It took some time to gain the strength to return to Tsukia. However, I'm excited to see where this new direction takes her as I reclaim this beloved character. And I want to share it with any who care to join me in the slow, lengthy adventure.🥺💕
Safianne, Liena, and now Vanyelaire have found their way into her story and my heart as well, expanding things beyond what they once were and breathing life into her AU. Though it may take me a while and I'm still learning as I go, I can't wait to share pieces of it with you all in the hopes you enjoy it (almost) as much as I do. 💕
Thank you for sticking around this long and taking a moment to read my rambles. *offers cookies* Tsukia hogs the creme brulee, so this is all I have left. 😅🤣
My characters and myself hope you'll like what is to come as I work on their stories and share their lore. New friends are always welcome and cherished.🥰💕 One tiny dragon, three tall Elezens, and the human they live rent-free in the head of send our sincerest thanks for every bit of support given.
The basic lore posts (and my characters' names) can be found below.💕💕💕
Tsukia Kurotori
Safianne Sahain
Liena Eryssel
Vanyelaire Eryssel
(I will say that, though I do not have much practice in it, I would be open to attempting some RP. I am a beginner at RP compared to writing, but my three Elezen OCs have some leeway that makes it possible. So, I just wanted to put this out here. After all, it might be nice to try new things occasionally.😊💕)
Hello. So, I have decided I would venture into the FFXIV side of things after a break from it due to some irl stuff. Tsukia's story has changed much from when she first came into being, but I'm excited to see where this new direction takes her. And to share it with any who care to join me in the slow, lengthy adventure. 😊
Without further ado, allow me to introduce you to the unsuspecting tiny dragon who went from searching for her sister to stepping into her fallen sister's shoes as the Warrior of Light.
(‼️Trigger warning: mention of suicide and assault)
"I was given this power to protect and to heal. The elementals entrusted it to me. They put their faith in me. I will not let down that faith."
Age: 24 (as of the start of HW)
Height: 5'0"
Pronouns: She/Her
Nameday: 8th Sun of the 6th Astral Moon
Guardian: Menphina
Laughing, bright, wise, empathetic, confident, and powerful. A young Raen Au Ra, Tsukia was born into an old family with a long tradition of being master Ninjas. However, Tsukia eventually grew to realize this was not the path she wanted, though both she and her sister were highly skilled. Both of them wanted something else. Much to the ire of their strict father.
After a traumatic event, Tsukia chose to become a Conjurer in order to protect and heal others, and then later a White Mage under the guidance of the elementals, who took a liking to her. They know she is not the type who would abuse such power, hence why they allow her to have it. She had great potential, becoming extremely powerful, though she prefers to use her strength to heal and protect. But make no mistake. If you try and harm those she loves, she will not hold back.
This event also led to her elder sister (Seren) leaving their clan behind, casting aside who she was, for it was Tsukia's sister who killed the man who had assaulted Tsukia, a man Seren had once considered a friend. She took up the lance rather than being a Ninja, the path she chose as Tsukia did hers. Even if it was for her little sister's sake, Seren could not stay. They did not know what came of her after. Until the day Tsukia began to look for her.
She’d finally been able to gain approval to venture out of the clan and so went in search of her sister, only to find that Seren took her life by walking into the waters of Costa del Sol and never emerging, leaving only her worn lance behind.
So ended one story...while another shall begin.
“Where do you wanna go? How much do you want to risk?” Her smile was dazzling as her eyes shone, still swirling with the aether she'd called upon.
(Some explanation below, with slight spoilers)
Side notes: Her sister was the WoL during the Calamity and who returned during ARR, without her memories of the battle, inadvertently assuming the mantle once more. She fell in love with Foulques, saving him from death and helping him turn his life around. However, he was lost to her during Operation Archon, as he fought alongside the Twin Adders at the cost of his life. This sent her into a dark spiral, leading to her death before the commencement of Heavensward. By some twist of fate, it is Tsukia who ends up bearing her sister's mantle from there on.
