@kihowon   /   ITS BEEN AT LEAST TWO HOURS, maybe three, since won kiho politely knocked at the door and yehyun stumbled through his mess of a bedroom to go open it. it wouldnât be the first time kiho would enter yehyunâs space (technically, it was yoyoâs place, but yehyun had been here for over a year now so he figured he could call it his too), and despite their different gangs and the more or less opposing personalities, the two got along pretty damn well.
in fact, yehyun would almost say he actually enjoys kihoâs company, even if the guy is a little weird and idealistic for his tastes. then again, maybe being weird and idealistic is the reason yehyun keeps talking to the other in the first place. who could say.
â so did you bring anything new for me? forgot to ask when you came in. â yehyun murmurs, smoke from the blunt heâs currently hitting escaping through his mouth and nose. he never thought much about asking people if it was okay to toke up around them, but he figures kiho must be okay with it. itâs all he can really assume since the other has yet to say anything (unlike a certain annoying roommate who never shut up about it).
â since last time you were so pissed when i broke it, this time iâll actually try to take care of it. treasure it, even. â his words are half-joking and yehyun knows theyâre both aware. after all, he doesnât take care of any of his shit, let alone the yo-yos kiho so often gives him. he probably should start taking care of them, theyâre gifts after all, but nobody said kiho had to gift him anything in the first place. really, yehyun canât be trusted with jack shit.
going to yehyunâs he knew about three things that were certain, yehyun was going to be high or would be soon, heâs room would be a mess, and yehyun definitely broke the gift he gave him last time. no matter how much he hoped to see that door open and for it to be in perfect condition, it definitely would not be. despite all of this, though only one of them ever felt like an issue for him, he kept coming, because yehyun was his friend, one who he shouldnât trust with his toys but could definitely trust him with his company.
though it was an unlikely friendship, kiho was pleased to find someone who accepted him, his toy carâs, yo-yoâs and all. or at least it seemed so, with the way that yehyun had yet to ever really kick him out or push him the way like he expected from most.
it wasnât hard for a smile to appear on his face, excited to show off his new little piece of treasure heâd collected. he rustled through his pocket, âi barely ever come here without something for you. i was gonna get something else but then i was this cool sonic figurine, you know from those like random packages, i mightâve opened a few, i didnât wanna steal one that wasnât sonic, you know? iâd hate to come all the way here to find out iâd only stole an eggman. but it has wheels on itâs feet so when you roll it back it zooms.â he took out the toy, and placed it on the floor to demonstrate, pulling it back in the direction of where he was sitting, hoping itâd make itâs way towards him.
âi figured this would be too cool of a toy for you to break, plus like itâs sonic, why would you even want to break it, you know?â the logic seemed solid to kiho, at least to him. heâs never broken any of the toyâs heâs slid into his pockets, all of them are like little trophies for him, adding to his endless collection of items that just scream âwon kiho.â though with his giftâs to yehyun it was always hard for him to hide his obvious bias for the items he picks out for him.
