Nike Pop-Up Shop
I would choose Nike to create a pop-up shop because they are a well-known brand that works in fashion but is also huge in the sports industry. I think Nike would benefit from this because they have a wide consumer market and have been one of the most popular sportswear brands for a while. For this specific pop-up shop, it will be focused the USWNT, soccer cleats and sportswear for the brand and team. I think this would also benefit Nike due to the recent rise of women's sports and would be nice to see in the soccer community. The target audience will be women, ages 10-50+, soccer lovers, and those who enjoy fitness. My main goals for this pop-up are to increase brand awareness, promote the USWNT line, and connect with that sector of the target market more because I think they are not reaching them as much as they could. This event would take place in early winter, around this time to get people excited for the NWSL finals. It will be located in San Jose, CA, where the finals are being held and will showcase primarily the two teams gear and merchandise, but will also include merchandise from the other teams. There will be live music with a DJ, food and beverages served like wings, sliders, and hot dogs, with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. There will be mini-activities for guests like a juggling contest, 1v1 scoring game, and will have a section for the younger audience to get some technique lessons from some of the OG players like Tobin Heath and Alex Morgan. There will be merchandise set up in the tent including jerseys, socks, keychains, headbands, and tote bags. To make it more competitive, like the game of soccer, the person with the highest count of touches (non-stop) when juggling will get a new pair of cleats signed by both of the competing teams.
