I like to imagine that Huntress fell completely in love with Canary during her brief visit to Roman’s club while doing recon on Zsasz. Like, she’s supposed to be focused plotting her revenge on the man who had a part in her family’s murder but just the sound of Canary’s voice (unlike anything Huntress has ever heard in her life) drew her focus and as soon as Huntress saw Canary onstage, literally glowing under the club lights, she was enamored. Like, Canary’s voice makes Huntress feel light and warm.

I also like to imagine that Huntress came back to the club in the days up until she kills Zsasz just to see Canary - but she has to keep herself hidden, watching Canary from the darkest corner of the room because the sound of her voice is the one thing in Huntress’ life that reminds her people are capable of wonderful things.

#so like i think technically the movie timeline is that helena first showed up at the club the same night she killed zsasz #so she never actually got to see dinah sing #which is truly unfair for her #though she DID she sionis' horrifying assault of that woman and the way he made dinah dance with him after #and she understandably looked uncomfortable #that said i am absolutely here for this as a delicious AU setup #really i'm just generally here for the fic fodder of helena hearing and reacting to dinah's singing for the first time #(and vice versa since mew has a great voice too)#dinah x helena
