The word 'monster' was the last thing to make it out of the person's mouth before the well aimed fist of one Stacker Becket seemingly came flying out of nowhere. But it didn't stop with just one punch, it turned into an all out beat down. Stacker just saw red. No one called Killian anything negative. Ever.

Your character overhears someone calling mine 'a monster', what does your character do?

Killian was about to spit out a retort when—much to his surprise—Stacker came out of nowhere and proceeded to beat the tar out of the man that had insulted the journalist. “Stacker?” he cried out, attempting to get the others attention before the beating went to far. “Stacker, stop.” His voice rang loud and clear; authority crackling through it like electricity.

When his shoulder his touched, he whips around, much in the same fashion his namesake had done once to his father and he raises his hand up, blood running down the hand with busted knuckles and down his face. “I… I just saw red… I… fuck….” he whimpers. “I…” he looks around confused and frantic. You see Killian was changing the young pilot, making him face years of repressed emotions. Now it was all bubbling to the surface.

Killian’s eyes trailed over Stacker’s features, assessing the damage. It could have been worse, he supposed. His mouth twisted into a grimace of pity and he traced his hand over the others cheek. “Breathe, baby, breathe…” He could tell that the other was beginning to panic; he’d never seen the other so angry, and now Stacker looked very much like a confused and upset puppy. The turbulent emotions must have been causing serious strife within the pilot.

Blows were exchanged, aka the poor bastard was trying to defend himself, and a crack hits the air as Stacker’s nose is clipped. He kept on pummeling though. Right when the journalist’s voice pierced the static and chaos of his rage fueled mind, his fist stops barely and inch from the other’s face. He turns to look Killian. Anger and fury washed away by shame and he released the other guy, who slumps to the floor. That’s when he turns on a heel and quickly walks away,

He didn't spare a single thought for the man on the floor and instead focused on the fleeing figure, moving swiftly to walk after him. "Stacker, Stacker! Hey..." He places a hand on the man's shoulder, having finally caught up with him. "I-- Why? Why did you start hitting that guy? I'm not saying he didn't deserve it, I just.." He huffed softly. "I want to know why. I took you to be the diplomatic type, not the 'beat the bloody shit out of him' type."
