Gorgeous saturated colours at Sies Marjan for AW18 during NYFW. The shapes are still simple, but totally wearable, though it’s the colours and the combinations therein that make Marjan stand out.

Imperial Yellow 18th Century Fashion
I know, I’ve already made a yellow post before (you can check it HERE) but this very shade of yellow that came into fashion because of the Chinese influence became popular is just beautiful.
BTW I found a cotton velvet in this very shade and I think it would make a gorgeous riding habit!

Visited the Stahl House today and it was the one of the best homes I have ever seen in person. 👌🏼

Incredible details from @maisonmargiela SS18 by John Galliano and his team. Imagine starting with airport travel as your inspiration and landing on these looks...? It takes such an incredible imagination to make that leap, and to execute it like this. I feel so lucky to live in the age of Galliano and his genius.
@matthewadamsdolan SS18 at New York Fashion Week. The proportion play, always a signature for MAD, is shrunken somewhat. Which means, of course, that everything becomes that much more wearable. The cable knits feel super fresh, and my god, I’d die for a monogramed button down like the one worn by the scruffy ginger model. Swoon.
Fall wardrobe wishlist from @TELA, by Federica Mora.
Just the best. @mollygoddardxox ‘resort’ 18 from her recent show at V&A last month.
Exhilarating.
Balenciaga FW17

Throwback to styling in Milan!
It was a moment to behold. HARDEMAN brought the early 2000′s glamour back to life for her FW17 presentation at Plaza in LA. The best kind of alchemy brought this show to life- music, models, space, and vibe were A++.
Waiting in Fashion, 2016
This is what it’s like.
Best dressed at this year’s Met Gala honoring Rei Kawakubo of Comme Des Garcons. Anna Cleveland, Julien D’ys, and Stella Tennant (Anna and Stella in CdG); Rick Owens and Michelle Lamy (in Cdg); Grace Hartzel and the incomparable Rami Malek (both in Dior). What I wish they ALL wore? Pieces from the ‘body meets dress, dress meets body’ collection of 1997. Alas. These six at least brought the quirk, the odd proportions, and the color that Kawakubo is renowned for.
