December.

He told me his troubles and I fixed them, just like old times. We talked more and more until one day he said… “ You still know me better than anyone, you’re still my best friend” I told him that I loved him and that he was my best friend too, and all these things were fine, until they were no longer of text message or skype, now he is back home , and so am I. He has promised me a million times,  that things are different, that he won’t leave me and his friends that were there for him when no one else was, for the other friends he made junior and senior year, that he won’t blow me off, that he wants to hang out all the time. But believing these things is hard. Don’t get me wrong. I love this boy more than I ever should, but believing that is like waiting for December in Texas. All you can do is pray that this time it will snow, and not be too disappointed if it does not.

"2am and I'm still awake writing a song"

It's 2am and I'm still awake studying for my Geo test, I am in my study lounge since my roommate, like the good student she is, went to sleep at a respectable time. There are 2 other people in here, one who may just be texting between math problem and the other writing a paper, he is cute and I haven't seen him before.
