Um, hello!

My name's Donnie. I'm 20 years old, and I work at the Castelia City Aquatic Rehabilitation Center as the Wishiwashi caretaker. It's nice to meet you!

I thought it would be fun to make an account on here to post stuff about the Wishiwashi and the other goings-on at the aquarium; arc knows how popular this site's gotten semi-recently, so it's a good outlet for me to ramble and maybe do a little bit of promotion for the aquarium. I do enjoy talking about them, so don't hesitate to ask questions!

Since I imagine people will want to know, my Pokemon are Vanilla the Togetic and Buddy the Tynamo!

So I may have been given a position as curator of the Goldenrod Aquarium's main exhibit tank.

I've got some help but I feel I've kinda been thrown into the deep end.

That's an absolutely fair and understandable reaction. My advice is to heavily lean on the help you've got, but try to slowly get to the point where you can eventually handle everything you can by yourself. Take things one step at a time, and you'll do great!

When you're sitting down to relax after a long day, reading a book or something, the silence is nice.

But when it's late at night and you're lying awake in bed, the silence can be a bit too much.

To be fair, my experience with Wishiwashi have pretty much all been with the ones at the aquarium, so I can't say for certain it's universal, but arc alive are they CHATTY

That's really interesting! Do they consider you a part of their school? If they do, that's a huge show of trust on their end; the one I work with trusts me a lot and considers me an ally/friend, but I'm still a third party to them.

OOC: Donnie's had Vanilla since he was 8 years old. Vanilla is amab, but prefers they/them pronouns and descriptors! They evolved when Donnie was 11.

OOC: Donnie started an internship at the aquarium when he was 16, which eventually got him the job as the Wishiwashi caretaker when the previous one stepped down! He's still at the aquarium, though, just doing something else.
