Having teased a new album earlier today, Childish Gambino has shared the lead single from his forthcoming new record called Awaken, My Love!. At over six-minutes long, “Me and Your Mama” is a blissfully transcendent affair which twists and turns from ambient and mellow to explosive and rocky and back again. It’s definitely not what we expected, but sometimes the unexpected is exactly what we need. Peep the track up top and look out for the new album which is out December 2nd via Glassnote.
