I wanna get pack to posting in a weird diary format on a platform like no one uses or will recognize me on so here we go

things are shit, the future looks shit (I live in the US for context) everything is so expensive and I have no money and teaching is so hard and underpaid and under-appreciated but

there’s so much to be thankful for

just had two text exchanges w friends from college where we reminisced about the good days, the easy days

they weren’t “easy” at the time. we’ve all been financially strapped since forever… but we were together. we had our weird little gremlin rituals. our little built family.

anyway this is an appreciation post for my best friends, hundreds of miles away from one another and yet always so close to each others’ heart
