Hello! I hope you all enjoyed the chapter and thank you all for your patience :3 as you can see, it's MUCH longer than the previous parts, but I gave myself the deadline of the end of this month, and thankfully I was able to hit it (phew! although it did take a few dozen late nights and one all-nighter). The idea of this part spawned with the line that Spamton NEO has at the end of his pacifist boss fight when he says, "I'M FINALLY GONNA BE A BIG SHOT!!! HERE I GO!!!! WATCH ME FLY, [MAMA]!!!!" and that spawned a lot of questions for me. like does he have a mom? does he have a family?? In the previous comic chapter, Spamton mentions that the "people back home aren't really keen on change," so it felt only natural to explore what that might look like "domestically". I was a little hesitant to give the comic a "dead mom" figure, but then I considered how Chapter 2's dark world is intrinsically tied to the Holidays and how Carol and Rudy might've influenced Spamton's own parental figures (i.e. Carol's pressure to succeed due to a strong family image and Rudy's sickness) Ultimately although I feared it'd be cliche, I think I tried my best lol and I think it's pretty good! And! On the topic of quality, I wanted to thank my good friend Nix (sharpie.dust on Insta) who helped with the background flats for the comic. It allowed me to focus a lot more on the character acting and background lineart, which was absolutely instrumental to enhancing the quality of the piece (and likewise, the audience immersion). Give them some love if you've got Instagram, I deadass don't think I could've done it without them. Also shoutout to Canele, 3musketears, funtergeist, kiwipineappleparasol, mickeycfs, mountainyeti, and gabberdraw for being my emotional support on various streams and calls as I finished this chapter. You da best <3 and deadass kept me from spiraling into madness Next part will likely be the last part of this series. I am a bit burnt out and I do have to focus on some other projects and zines for a hot second, so I might give it a few weeks before I work on the finale. Still, I hope I gave you some nice TransSpamton/Spamtenna food to chew on <3

I promised a sequel you get a sequel!! Can you tell I was aching to make this one? When I first was drafting up Red Suit, I didn't know if people would really read or react to the comic. Woah BOY was I wrong, everyone everywhere had such wonderful reactions to it. Some of the tags you guys put in there bring genuine tears to my eyes. Yesterday was a busy day at my (stupid) job but I received a really sweet tag on the post and I was riding that high for the entire shift.

For those reasons and more, I wanted to make sure that I cooked with this one. Enjoy the feast fellas :P

This one took a hot second but I'm superduperduper proud of it. I also know I promised pencil sketches to fill up the time but ya boy got carried away lol. This one is a counterpart to my other comic, "Blue Dress". Where that one had Puppet Spam reminiscing about his past, this one's about AdiSpam thinking about his future. I really really really want to make a sequel to this comic but it all depends if the reception of this is strong enough lol

I recently was speaking with a mutual @3muske-tears about what I'd do if I made a trans-masc Spamton piece. I said that despite the fact I really wanted to make one, I didn't really know what to add, since the internet seems to have said everything worth saying about Trans Spamton. But then she brought up a good point: that not a lot of people make art of Trans Spamton after his time as a big shot.

And I thought that presented a unique challenge cause like how do you convey trans-ness without like, reproductive parts? Or hormones? In a puppet body?

And turns out the answer was in what I've been meaning to do to all my favorite dresses since I transitioned 🏳️‍⚧️

The benefactor being some sort of higher power, knowing to contact Spamton in the first place, and then also knowing to call him right after he signed the contract implies that they were watching him outside of their direct communications, but I'm curious about the extent of it. Were they always watching (either being omniscient or actively choosing to track Spamton to make sure he didn't share his secret), or were there times where they didn't watch? Because it's kinda funny to imagine that they were secretly watching every time Spamton was fucking his boyfriend. The price they had to pay to maintain control of their puppet.

again with my favorite concept! spamton is self aware and tenna doesnt know about the things he knows hahaheh

its supposed to be very sad but i mean he kissed him at the end so at least they love eachother ok (my first concept was WAY MORE SAD - spamton was just suppose to froze at the end and have an exsistential crisis and cut off the conversation) (but my friend told me choose the pacifist route so here it is) (love wins)

Spamton's nose is longer than the other Addisons' and is implied to be a "flaw" of his, but it's a feature Tenna loves, and Tenna isn't "supposed" to have a nose at all, but he coped Spamton's because of how much he liked it, so I think, whatever combination of features the Pipis Daughter ends up having (assuming she hatches at some point), she definitely needs to inherit the long nose. As a child of an inter-species couple (one out of maybe two mixed children we've seen in total), and as a Darkner who exists because her Darkner parents wanted a baby and not because she was meant to serve a purpose for Lightners, she defies rules and norms, and I think it would fit for her to inherit a trait that's non-standard in both of her parents (though she'd only be inheriting it from Spamton, since only his nose is natural).
