on male vs female asexuality: I find it interesting that "celibate" has become a gendered term. a man who doesn't want to have sex is celibate, but women are often pinned with (psychological or traumatic) "issues", or hormonal "issues", and encouraged to find a cure. I find that really telling, that society expects women to endeavour in every way to be sexually available, while a man can "opt out" with relatively little challenging.
Very nice analysis! I agree

Every single group in the LGBT community has its own experiences. These groups decided to unite under LGBT because the more people you have, the easier it is to change things. It's social change strategy. Numbers are the only thing we have to get our point across. Why do you think that radical feminism will never accomplish anything? Your numbers are far too few.
Radical Feminism will never accomplish anything?
Second wave feminism facilitated the availability of the contraceptive pill in 1961.
Worked towards and accomplished acquiring the âEqual Payâ act 1963.
Fought against and bought change about sex discrimination in the workplace in 1967
Fought to introduce the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) in the US Senate 1967
Spoke out about and helped give women the choice to abortion 1968
Fought for the Comprehensive Child Development Act, making it easier for single parents and working mothers 1971
Worked towards opening âbattered womenâs sheltersâ. In Urbana, Illinois, the first was founded by Cheryl Frank and Jacqueline Flenner 1971
Title IX of the 1972 Educational Amendments to the Civil Rights Act to enforce sex equality in education, which forces educational institutions to support womenâs sports
The Lesbian Separatist group and The National Black Feminist group work towards attacking specific womenâs issues under different axis of oppression.
Equal Credit Opportunity Act stops creditors from discriminating against women 1974
National Coalition Against Domestic Violence established 1977
The American Civil Liberties Union asks the Rhode Island Supreme Court to allow women to use their own names, rather than that of their husbands 1977
The Air Force graduates its first women pilots 1977
Second wave feminism was Radical Feminism. Radical Feminism has arguably achieved the most laws, acts and societal success towards female liberation. Thatâs because Radical Feminism is militant, unapologetic, is run by disabled, lesbian women of color who are sick of your shit. Itâs not appealing to men like third wave feminism is (libfem choicey choice). Itâs analysis runs deep. It takes some brain power to get your head around things. Itâs not as simple as âwell I choose to do something, therefore itâs feministâ - because Radical Feminism displays how socialization is the tool that encourages internalized misogyny in women. When we live under a patriarchal climate, nobody is exempt from making choices confined to the principles of misogyny. It just takes admission and the willingness to unlearn misogynistic things that is going to help in the long run. Without Radical Feminism, women would not be where we are today, even though there is still so much more we need to achieve. Wishy washy libfem choicey choice no analysis bull shit is not going to get us anywhere - and they DO have the numbers.
Do you think that men can be abused in a relationship?
Yes.

Is there a double standard for objectification?
Yes. No one should be objectified, but it is very obvious that the objectification of women is noticeably worse than the objectification of men. This is due to misogyny.

I'm desperate for someone to explain to me in the simplest of terms why trans women are not women.
Womanhood is not an identity. It is a state of being. There is no feeling associated with it, nor are there set characteristics. What makes a woman a woman is this: biological sex and the resulting subjugation from that. Those are the only two things every woman in the world has in common. Everything else varies by personality, culture, appearance, etc.

Because when I was 13 years old, I was sent home for my tank top straps being a little too thin, but a boy could wear a Cool Story babe, Go Make Me A Sandwich shirt and not be looked at twice. Because when I was 17 and I told a guy âNoâ and the next day the word tease was painted on my locker. Because when I was 18 and just wanted to be friends, I was a bitch. Because I feel the need to say âI have a boyfriendâ instead of âNoâ because guys respect other men more than they would ever respect me. Because society screams âdonât get rapedâ instead of âdonât rapeâ Because I am scared to walk alone at 10 PM Because being beautiful is the most important thing Iâll ever do. Because when I wear my favorite skirt âIâm asking for itâ Because the song Blurred Lines exists Because no means no no matter how you fucking spin it Because a girl was drugged and raped with a beer bottle, and the boys who did it are out on bail. Because I owe you nothing Because pepper spray is a gift I receive yearly. Because I am asked if I have a boyfriend more than I am asked about my mental health Because my clothes say more about my consent then my mouth does. Because the wage gap exists Because ânot all men are like thatâ is said way too often ENOUGH ARE Because I feel the need to say âIâm not a feminist butâŠâ Because Iâm writing this fucking piece
