I spent several years writing and rewriting it until it was as emotionally powerful and beautifully written as possible! I reread it on occasion (because I miss the characters) and it makes me sob every time. So, be warned: it will break your heart! 🦋💔

This is Ziana- she’s a MC in my current work-in-progress: Blood like Pennies (LGBTQ+, Sci-Fi). If I had to describe her in three words, I’d say compassionate, resilient, and sarcastic; all three traits come in handy when she has to survive an apocalyptic cult-take-over.

It’s gay romance/ tragedy set in the 1950s, California.

This book is my baby- I love it so much- and I CANNOT WAIT to get it out into the world for people to read.

Continuing my comic about daily experiences as trans person….

The comic above shows what happened to me the other day. I don’t think cis-people will ever be able to understand just how disorienting and anxiety inducing being misgendered can be. I try to not let it bother me but it plagues my mind for HOURS after I’m “Ma’amed” or “she’d.” But, same goes for being gendered correctly; the euphoria sticks around all day.

I just finished reading The Song of Achilles. I have no words for how heartbroken I am, but I’m also so in awe of the beauty and cultural significance of this book!
