Death at Sea [Closed RP w/ kindred-hunters]

“CAP’N! BIG BILLOWS O’ FOG AT TWELVE’O’CLOCK!” the scouter up in the crow’s nest cried out as the man standing at the wheel - none other than Gangplank himself - merely bellowed in laughter. They were already in quite a storm out in the ocean, with the wind roaring and whistling in their ears, foamy sea-water splashing upon their faces and lightning blinding their eyes… but the Captain was not afraid of mother Nature. He spat right in her face on each of his voyages! And now was no difference.

“BWAHAHAHAHAHA! An’ yer scared of a lil’ wee fog, mate?!” he roared up to the outlook, as he steered his beloved Dead Pool right for the foggy curtains. “Dis ‘ere fog is nothin’ fer us! Set course for tha’ heart o’ the storm!” he cried, and as such, his ship would set course right for the mist, and in it went. All in a near-instant, the storm seemed to… die? The waters were calm and still once more, and not as much of a wind whistle was heard. What were these cursed mist-veils? Even Gangplank himself seemed to be a bit concerned, before frowning.

“Where’s me bloody storm?!” he bellowed, letting go of the wheel as he’d tromp down the deck-stairs and onto main deck, looking around as the fog was suddenly as thick as pea-soup around him, and nothing was to be seen around him. Then it lifted… and his men were suddenly crying out for help, pinned to the mast, deck and railings by arrows… ghastly, luminescent silvery arrows. Gritting his teeth, Gangplank could only think of one culprit… well, two to be exact. “So ‘dem bloody twin-reapers do exist… well how ‘bout they show ‘emselves?!” he ripped his sword from its scabbard, aiming it out into thin air, preparing himself for anything.

They moved so silently through the mist, as if made of it themselves. Lamb made sure that wolf did not feast on the deckhands souls, they were there for one reason... a runner of fate. Lamb had marked the man hiding below in the belly of the ship weeks ago. When the man had heard the howls he ran away, stowing away on Bilgewaters local ‘kings’ ship. The lamb gracefully landed on the wooden boards of the ship, her footfalls could barely be heard as she looked at the well seasoned captain, giving the smallest of a bow. “You hide one of our marks on your ship... Give him to us, The masks of the kindred seek to claim the mark.” her ethereal voice echoed in the stillness of the fog surrounded area, as she spoke Wolf appeared and swirled around her, his mouth open wide, wisps of purplish black substance dripped down, despite looking like nothing more than a wisp the wolf was honestly the menacing sight to behold.

“Give us the one fated to DIE!” he growled out, his large mouth pulled up at the corners, in a manner of a grin, Wolf tried to move forward to attack the Captain before Lamb placed a hand on his side.

“Patience, dear wolf.” her soft words whispered gently.

-Lamb and Wolf can speak telepathically.

-They do not remember being one person, Lamb did once, but as time grew on. The memory faded. All that is left is the memory of always having Wolf.

-Lamb is Wolf’s Sanity.

-Wolf is Lamb’s Anger.

-Lamb is the Pale man’s Serenity, all that was good about him.

-Wolf is the Pale man’s Darkness, all that was bad about him.

-they wear the masks not only because they are bound… But because they bleed onto each other:

~Lamb, while gentle, can also be dark.

~Wolf, while dark, can also be gentle.

-If Lamb were to ever lose wolf. She would go insane.

-Without Lamb, Wolf would hunt anyone. Marked or not.

-They can see the flow of time, Hence why they Know Ekko’s name, and how he has had so many ‘almosts’ for being marked.

-Wolf loves Belly rubs, and being scratched behind the ears.

Lamb gave a small nod to the Solari, noticing how mechanical they were she paused slightly. Did wolf even sense life from them…? Would they be able to hunt them later?

She frowned behind the mask before giving a very short bow, not liking that she couldn’t sense life from the Solari.

“Yes… That is us, we are Kindred… I am Lamb,” she placed a gentle hand on the mass of purple and black next to her. “and this is Dear Wolf…”

“I do not know what type of an abomination you are, a body of metal and near no signs of life.. But as Lamb stated, I am Wolf.”

As he spoke he dared not bear his fangs, he was to be courteous when the hunt was not on, he despised this false nobility he was forced to emanate.

“So, why do you grace our presence? Such an aberation devoid of life, I wonder if you are immune...”
