Here’s some stuff about them:
-Hypnopossums are named for their psychic powers (which commonly take the form of hypnosis), as well as their eyes, which contain three colorful rings that cycle when using said powers.
-Psychic abilities are often specialized and vary in strength among individuals. Additional powers include telekinesis, slight x-ray vision, and very rarely, clairvoyance. If it’s psychic or sight-related, a Hypnopossum somewhere probably has it
-There are a few design aspects consistent among Hypnopossums. Their eyes always have 3 different colored rings. Their faces are nearly always white, with darker ears and ornamental eye/facial markings. Also, their hands and feet are dark, with lighter fingers and claws.
-Abdominal pouches may appear on either sex, but are far more commonly found on those capable of giving birth. That being said, not all Hypnopossums capable of birth may possess a pouch
-Their flesh color can differ greatly, spanning from yellows and oranges, to pinks and purples, to blues and greys.
-Rarely, Hypnopossums with a third, central eye are born, referred to as Delphic. The psychic powers of Delphic Hypnopossums are much more potent (clairvoyance is nearly exclusive to this variety), however their other two eyes tend to be blind and vestigial.
Delphic Hypnopossums might show up in a future auction. There will be another one after this one for sure (I have 5 regular designs inked and awaiting color), so either I’ll squeeze one into that batch or do a third auction with just 2 or 3 Delphic designs in it.
