Interesting au idea I have: giving Dazai moon dong eun’s backstory before joining the mafia, and while there he happens to see his old bullies about three years later when he’s seventeen. He asks Chuuya if he wants to help with some ‘petty’ revenge when they’re not on mafia business. However, shit goes sideways after Dazai leaves.

While undercover, Dazai and Chuuya happen to meet again, and he decides he doesn’t wanna abandon his partner and offers to help. Revenge tale mixed with being on the run from the mafia!

Genuinely breaks my heart when I think about how Dazai playing video games is the only normal teenage activity we see him do, other than underage drinking. And that’s not even a cheap set of beers, it’s whisky of all things.

And Chuuya gives him a reason to go to the arcade. And Chuuya is in that exact same boat.

Bizzare pet peeve I have is when people ask psychologists to diagnose a fictional character with a mental illness and they go “I can’t do that cuz they’re not real” BUT TELL ME WHAT THEY WOULD HAVE IF THEY WERE! USE YOUR IMAGINATION!

As right as people are when saying others making Dazai super emotional and wimpy are making him wildly out of character, people who make him totally lack compassion and love and regret are also guilty of making him out of character. There’s a middle ground that I love so much and I hope to keep seeing more of, Dazai is someone who loves so deeply yet loves so few, who’s dangerous and almost without guilt but not without regrets, someone who’d do nearly anything for the people he cares about, including putting them in danger if it’ll help them in the long run. He doesn’t do well with honesty or communication, but he does try at least now while he’s with the ADA

First and foremost, I acknowledge there are some really good SKK go to UA while undercover for the mafia fan fictions. I’ve just finished catching up on an exceptionally good one called ‘I don’t smoke’ as a matter of fact. Check that out if you haven’t already.

HOWEVER

…can we have less undercover mission fics? Like sure, this concept is cool and all but there’s only so many times I can read it before I just get sick to death of it. I want to just one fanfiction where Izuku maybe goes undercover into the mafia or something. I know that makes no sense, but I am so tired of Dazai and Chuuya having to be undercover in every fanfiction.

I want a fanfiction where they are teen SKK and are completely honest about their identities from the start due to circumstance or something. I am so tired of undercover mission fics. Again, some of these are really good! I’ve read multiple that are very strong and well written and funny. But it’s a concept that’s been absolutely done to death and I’m really tired of it LMAO. all the undercover Mission fanfictions get really exhausting after you’ve seen like 50 of them in a row. Especially because so often they’ll just retell the events of the MHA with SKK inserted in there too. And while that can and has worked before, I find the other fanfics that have a different take on it so much more interesting lately.

my approach to transness is just "you can do whatever you want forever" like genuinely who gives a fuck if you don't go on HRT or don't care about passing or don't use common pronouns or whatever the fuck. like at their core every anti-trans argument is about denying bodily autonomy and forcing adherence to cishet perisex norms, so all of these constant, cyclical arguments about how "[xyz group of nonnormative trans people] makes all of us look bad and that's why we don't have rights" are just stupid as fuck. there's no type of trans person that's palatable to a transphobe. the reason you don't have rights is because cis people don't think any of us deserve bodily autonomy and it's a waste of time and energy to pretend otherwise
