Anon who found it easier to draw Rimbaud here. I think we may be platonic soulmates because just last week I went on a Rimbaud drawing spree in my science class, and drawing him is now in MY bloodstream.

idk what it is in my brain chemistry but for some reason I find rimbaud so much easier to draw than verlaine

Because of Rimbaud’s hair only covering a bit of his face I always end up thinking I fucked up his face anatomy and spend like 2 more hours just redoing it over and over 😞

Verlaine has hair covering one side so I don’t have to draw both eyes (thank god)

Also I’ve drawn Verlaine a ton because one time I had a running gag during a science course where everytime the word ‘singularity’ was mentioned I’d draw Verlaine… (ended up drawing him like 16 times)

Additionally this man only has like 3 expressions with slight variations in canon. The resting bitch face, the I need to punch him smile, and pathetic wet cat… so I don’t need to be as precise with him lol

Rimbaud used to be easier for me but my BIG Verlaine obsession for like 2 months made Verlaine easier and set my expectations for any Rimbaud drawing way higher then it should be
