1) it’s literally dystopian like. i wrote a while back in private about how i tried to adapt this horrific fetish au into something that could exist and be interesting but the more the wrote the more i realise i could only adapt it in a horrific dystopian future

omegaverse is mainly a porn genre. and it seems you may have not read a lot, as the ‘helpless omega’ trope isn’t all that exists. there are some alpha x alpha and beta x beta omegaverse fics/doujinshi/manga as well. there are tropes focussed on family and overcoming trauma (one trope i like is where an alpha helps an omega overcome their sexual abuse trauma and learn to love themselves), although those are not all porn.
and so what if most of it’s porn?? like... it’s porn. some people like fetish or kinky porn. some people like being submissive and some people like being dominant. i don’t understand what the problem is. enjoying porn is okay. enjoying kinky porn is okay. so what if someone likes imagining “being fucked in the dirt” by an “alpha”. they aren’t hurting anyone by having a kink.
