I tried to make a undertale style battle Sprite for Carol I also managed to remake asgore and a couple of others for fun Carol ended up being bigger than asgore so I tried to trim down her height as much as I could I could go back and trim down more but I'm leaving it like this right now.

This. This scene right here. This is the scene that made me fall in love with Carol Holiday as a villain/antagonist. Not because this shows that she's got sympathetic qualities, but because it adds so many layers to her UNsympathetic qualities.

She really had us fooled with the warm look and the way she placed her hand on Kris's shoulder that there was some humanity in her, but as the scene unfolded, it only served to make her that much more sinister.

It's very intriguing that out of all the courses of action she could have taken with Kris, she APOLOGIZES to them. But it's not a genuine demonstration of remorse, as with many people who don't take accountability, she doesn't actually say what she feels sorry for. It's something rather more along the lines of "I'm sorry you felt that way" or "I'm sorry if how I treated Noelle made you uncomfortable."

SHE'S NOT SORRY FOR HOW SHE TREATED NOELLE, BUT RATHER "SORRY" IF SHE ENDED UP MAKING KRIS MORE LIKELY TO END WHATEVER THEY HAVE BETWEEN THEM.

I doubt she's a full-on psychopath and sees Kris only as nothing more than an instrument to be manipulated, but you cannot deny that the relationship she has with Kris is very VERY TWISTED regardless if there is any genuine attachment or care behind it.

And it makes her the best damn antagonist in the entire game.
