Yuri looked down at his feet and the low black heels he’d just put on. He turned one foot to the side, glanced up into the mirror and concluded he looked fucking stunning in them. The skirt was a longer than he’d usually go for, but he could hardly barge into a conservative church in a mini skirt and crop top and expect to get the result he was going in for.
He had to be sexy, but it had to look like it was an accident.
He pulled some strands of his hair back and used a red ribbon to tie them together at the back. That’d definitely work, especially as the red stood out against his light blonde hair.
He did up the buttons of his blouse and straightened out the decorated collar. Yes, this could work. Especially after adding some blush to his cheeks.
Now all he had to do was get the walk right–no problem–and make sure he’d sound as innocent as he possibly could–a bit of a problem, but certainly worth the hassle.
If it wasn’t for that stupid dare he’d never be doing this. If he hadn’t drank as much as he’d done over the weekend he wouldn’t have agreed to it. But alas, here he was, about to prove he wasn’t a scaredy-cat who went back on his word.
The way there was relatively short and he’d not received a single strange look, which meant his facade was flawless. No one questioned it, as per usual. By the time he reached the open church doors he was feeling confident that this would work and that if it wouldn’t, he’d at least given it his best shot.
The service was in progression and he quietly walked in, his heels announcing his presence on the stone floor, as he quietly found an empty seat. He had no eyes for the pastor. Or priest. Or whatever the bloke at the front was called. He only had eyes for those around him. He had to pick one of these men to approach after the service was over, so he could pretend the be the shy girl who lost her way and just happened to stumble upon an inviting church. Yeah. This was going to be embarrassing. For everyone involved.
JJ wasn’t the type of person to just come to Church because he felt like he had to.
He had never been bored here, unlike most of his classmates when he had been younger. While they just sat there waiting for time to pass, right next to their beautiful parents, JJ had been completely focussed. Every single Sunday, he’d look up at his priest and listen to every single word he said. It wasn’t just listening either, because he took in every single word. He believed every single word. The conversations he’d have with his parents after the mass only confirmed that.
No, JJ absolutely loved going to Church. In fact, he loved it so much that he’d made sure that Sunday wasn’t the only day of the week that he’d come here. Instead, he was here two additional evenings throughout the week , these days to teach two different classes on Bible study for children. Perhaps he could prevent children to be bored in Church in the future. Perhaps he could teach them to appreciate mass and accept all of the love that came with being a good Christian. He wanted everybody to be able to feel that kind of love.
It was a bit unfortunate that he still saw so many uninterested faces as he looked around him, even now that the priest was giving yet another one of his amazing lectures. JJ was once again completely focused, even if he had heard this specific lecture countless of times before. This was simply too important not to pay attention to.
However, he was momentarily distracted when he heard the door open. He turned his head and watched a stunning, confused looking girl enter the building. She looked completely out of place here and JJ was absolutely certain that he hadn’t ever seen her before. Despite his own confusion, JJ couldn’t take his eyes off her either. She was absolutely beautiful, like a heaven-sent.
He was watching her for so long that he couldn’t even remember what the priest had said last.
