OKAY SO I WENT TO A REALLY GREAT TUMBLR MEETUP LAST SUMMER AND I DECIDED I WANTED TO RETURN THE FAVOUR, SO I’M ORGANISING MY OWN MEETUP THIS YEAR.

Anyone can come (you don’t have to follow me, but it will be handy closer to the time as I will probably post lots of updates about it).

Meeting at Lancaster Gate tube station at 12pm and I will wait around for about 30mins before we head off to hyde park for lunch.

Lunch time will simply be a time to get to know each other, follow each other on tumblr and debate over ships :P

We will then do a bit of sightseeing and shopping doctor who style (the tardis at earls court, forbidden planet, doctor who shop and the many places doctor who have used for filming over the years)

Guys!! There are only a few days left in Alex’s 51st birthday. The 51 Days, no matter how few people are participating, is coming along nicely. The video, so far, is absolutely wonderful.

Now, we begin the next step. And I would like to request all the Alex Kingston fans who see this to be a part of it. It could be one of the most amazing thing we as a fandom could do.

The idea is to get #HappyBirthdayAlexKingston trending on Twitter and Tumblr. We can post stuff, quotes from her, about her. Until 11th March, we do a sort of countdown (#HappyBirthdayAlexKingston #Countdown), and on the day itself the birthday tag.

Remember, how we achieved Anglophenia last year and got the selfie this year? Can we please get the same spirit going and make this a memorable birthday in our style?

This is my favorite book. Has been for a long time. It's actually what got me into Doctor Who...and then Alex. The first episode I watched was Pandorica/Big Bang. Especially the part when he was bouncing between Roman Rory and the museum. My first thought was that it reminded me of Hitchhikers's Guide. I was immediately hooked. And then I fell in love with Alex...and my worlds never been the same since!
