✝ zelda means companion ( the name of kingsley’s owl ) and unlike harry who was brought to eeylops owl emporium to purchase one, the shacklebolts own two long eared owls that produced second generation owls. with five eggs laid, king and his younger siblings were promised one egg for when they attended hogwarts. the two other owls continue to stay within the shacklebolt family. ✝ he uses zelda for many purposes, sending messages to other wizards during his auror years before he learned from albus how to send messages with his patronus. now she delivered small gifts and packages but most the time, sticks to being a companion for him during the first wizarding war.

✝ obviously kingsley is part of the order of the phoenix, when it first started. the picture was taken without him because he worked full time as an auror and member. just because he wasn’t in the photo doesn’t mean he wasn’t part of the order. ✝ voldemort trying to recruit james and sirius ? well excuse me but kingsley was just at the top of his list as well to recruit but he’s already proved his allegiance to the ministry. fighting back against death eaters. he could have asked but it’s already clear where his answer stood. ✝ james is comfortably wealthy and the same would have gone with kingsley if he was an only child. kingsley had two other siblings and he gave up his half to his siblings, who were at the age of starting a family. he made his own income as an auror. ✝ i feel that kingsley was a year older than james. he knew him , sirius , remus , and peter well but even more as order members. his judgment on character is what makes kingsley so well respected and why others could trust in his judgment. ✝ also wow, he successfully could blend in with muggles that the muggle prime minister couldn’t tell the difference. he knew how to fit in compared to other wizards / witches.
