whenever i feel homesick over a kintype i usually try to steer my thought path into like, trying to feel more happy that i am able to reflect on my home and that i was once in a really good place yknow ??? and im not trying to say “just be happy uwu” i mean sometimes it helps me to focus on the happiness of the memories

Positivity for Breezepelt? I've been feeling down lately and a lot of my friends have been defending my father..

breezepelt, you are one of the strongest cats out there! you went through so much with your father and you never deserved it. your father was neglectful and anyone who defends him does not understand how you had been affected. 

you had a rough life and you never deserved what you went through. im so proud of you though! you had gone through so much and came on top. i know you will prove to crowfeather that you are worth it and i know you will be an amazing father to your kits. prove him wrong and show everyone that you are not the cat that all the fans thought of you as!

Can I get some positivity for a horse that feels too hot tempered to have a purpose? I know if I had my body I'd dump every rider I had but I just get hnnnnng so many feelings. Angry excited

heyo fellow horse!!! tbh i was the exact same way when i was one too! i was super duper stubborn. its alright to be hot headed and being temperamental can be useful in situations! not all horses are compliant to a rider, nor does every horse need a rider. having a rider was super exciting

but no matter what i know you had a purpose! a horse does not to have a rider to be of use. maybe you had a different purpose than having a rider? you could have been a therapy horse or maybe you were on a farm where vet students learned about the anatomy! no matter how hot tempered an animal is, they still have a purpose no matter what!! <3

but honestly, anon, if you are asking about issues such as, going off the example you said, “if a latinx perosn wanted to id as a japanese character” you’d be better off asking someone who is japanese, u feel ?

however, i  have spoken before to a friend of mine who is korean about this and they have come to me before about their frustrations that non-east asian people id as such, and they have told me that it frustrates them because east asian people experience racism and prejudice that is unique to being east asian.

i hope that helps, but again, if you are nonwhite thats something you should discuss with other nonwhite people, bc its not my place to answer

nono not at all! white people cant relate to the issues that poc have (like discrimination/racism by color). so if youre white and id as a poc, you agree that you face the racial discrimination and struggles of them- mod mousefur

uh. hey what youre doing is great but?? whats with the whole "dont id outside your race or privilege" thing. you do know how that whole drama got started right? it was literally started by cis white girls pretending to be trans girls of color and they made that "rule" so they wouldnt have to deal with doubles of their kintypes. its really not fantastic to keep perpetuating their legacy.

Believe it or not, we are capable of finding things racist, independent of white influence. Further, this argument is utterly nonsensical - how is white people fucking up while pretending to be Japanese somehow license for more white people to continue to do so?
