A clap of thunder resonated through the air, immediately followed by a heavy splattering of rain, as if a switch had been flipped on in the heavens. White, soggy bangs hanging over his vision, Konoha reached up a pale hand to move the damp strands away, gazing up at the clouds with pink eyes faintly reflecting surprise.
He wasn’t alone, however. Recognizing a familiar head of brown, and eyes of mismatched color, Konoha turned to plant the smallest of friendly smiles on his face. He waved to his companion- whose name he was unaware of- and began to walk towards him.

It wasn’t the smartest idea, trying to sneak out late at night and steal candy from any nearby stores. He doubted many places were even open, and it didn’t seem like a lot of houses were still open for trick or treating. The blonde was left wandering the dark streets alone. Until he spotted someone and nearly jumped at the sight of them. Unsure what to say to them, he stood in silence for a moment, hoping they’d move on and ignore him.
“.....”
Clutching a paper bag bustling with candy, the stick of a lollipop sticking out of his mouth, Konoha maneuvered through the dark streets, somewhat lost and trying to find his way back to the Mekakushi Dan. The vacancy seemed to be empty, as many of the residents probably wanted to stay with their families, rather than shiver in the cold air.
Tilting his head, Konoha blinked once he realized that he wasn’t really alone. A blond kid stood a few paces away from him, and he assumed that he was lost. Just like himself. A question presented itself to him in the form of a curious inquiry. “Are you lost too?”

Food? Did her ears dare deceive her? She would send her eardrums into the Time Vortex to burn alive if she misheard the little lad.
“Food, you say? I’d love to tag along! Though…”, she stammered, grabbing at her pocket-less skirt, “… I don’t really have any currency on me at the moment. Not used to needing actual money to do stuff.”
She felt guilty that she was practically begging for money, but food was calling her soul to the magical land of diabetes.
“I have money.” Konoha smiled. In the end, it all worked out. After all, eating ice cream alone just wouldn’t be the same enjoying it by himself. He didn’t mind being alone, but there was something very special about having kind people to share it with. And it was that feeling that he cherished so much. He didn’t know what it was, but he knew that he wanted it.
It was one smidget of his forgotten past that had stuck with him until now.
“Let’s go, then!” He especially couldn’t wait to get his hands on the frozen treats. He’d brought enough money for at least four cones, but giving up a few wouldn’t hurt that much.

Following his lead, she started shuffling away from the water. Her eyes drifted back over the boy’s figure once she had moved out of the way of the sprinkler’s range, staring at each detail. He looked kinda cute with all those little droplets in his hair. They matched his shining eyes.
“Oh, uh… my name is Shadow! Very nice to meet your acquaintance, Mr. Konoha. What’re you doin’ out here on this fabulous -and damp - day?”
“I was going to get food.” Namely, ice cream. But he had to dry off first. The waffle cone would get soggy in a minute if he dared to eat it with wet hands. And hopefully the money that he was carrying in his pocket had stayed safe also. It wouldn’t be too fun paying with waterlogged pieces of paper.
“You could come with me if you want.” This stranger- Shadow- seemed like a nice enough person. Konoha always welcomed those.
Aww, they like you! (hello hello I want to try rping with you yes uwu)

“You think so?” Konoha asked, a smile tugging on his lips. He rocked the child slightly, noticing that the kid was slowly winding down bit by bit.
“You’re good, too.”

There are two types of fans:
1. The ones who cry over the death of a character and write cute things about them and theory’s of them maybe living.
2. The ones who cry and then make the death puns.
