The paper cup disappeared into the abyss of the bin on the pavement as you walked past it on your way to the Oya High. Why were you going there? Well, you wanted to visit your brother, Todoroki. It's been some time since you spent some sibling bonding time together, and today looked like a great day to do so. Also, meeting other students of Oya High was a nice idea.
Finally, you reached the school's well-known building, and a smile crawled onto your lips immediately. This place always brought back nice memories and gave you a feeling of comfort; it felt like home even though you weren't here very often. It also taught you how to fight, thanks to your brother being a pain in the ass during training, and you didn't expect to use your skills so soon, but a person attacking you from the right quickly changed your mind. You brought your arms up to your face to protect it and quickly attacked back. You aimed for the person's nose, but it didn't end well, your wrist got closed in someone's grip and slightly twisted, making you hiss. But you knew you didn't have much time to contemplate over your pain, you had to think and fight. You quickly estimated your chances and kicked the person's knee, making them bend and fall down onto the painless leg, and then you left a shoe print on the chest. The impact of the attack caused them to fall onto their back while breathing heavily.
"Okay, stop." You heard Furuya's voice and the fighting frenzy evaporated from your body, leaving you clueless and confused, but proud deep inside. "I get it, you are good."
"Can't say otherwise." You chuckled and helped the man get up from the ground. "You know that attacking me is never a good idea."
"I do." Furuya nodded and dusted himself off. "But Murayama still thinks he can take you in a fight. But still, he's sending us every time you come here."
"Coward." You joked, knowing perfectly that the leader of Oya High was listening, as he always was. "How have you been?"
And a conversation with a vice-leader went on as you two walked towards the center of the school, where everyone liked to hang out. The moment you crossed the entrance, you were greeted warmly by everyone present and literally pulled by the arm to sit with them. Have I mentioned the feeling of home? Yeah, that's how you felt with all those people around.
"Do you guys have a kettle and hot water?" You asked out of nowhere, making everyone look at you in silence.
"Sure we do." Said Seki and got up. "I will bring it in a moment."
And he disappeared.
You chuckled at his behaviour, but you kinda got already used to that. Everyone in Oya treated you with respect and even a slight amount of fear, and all that because you were Todoroki's sibling. Okay, not everyone, Murayama was an exception. He wasn't scared of you, he was intrigued, as he liked to say. That's why he was hiding from you whenever you were around.
"There you go." Seki came back with a mug full of hot water and handed it to you with a smile.
You thanked him with a nod and reached into your pocket only to take out a bag of instant coffee. Under the supervision of the Oya student, you poured it into the mug and waited for it to melt.
"And again, you and your coffee." Todoroki came in and looked at you with disappointment in his eyes, but you smiled at him and took a sip of your drink.
"You should be used to that already." An unexpected voice answered before you could say anything, making everyone turn towards the opened window on the second floor. "You are siblings."
"Murayama." Todoroki rolled his eyes but didn't look at the leader, his eyes were focused on you. "Mind your business. And you....let's go."
Your eyes moved from your brother to Murayama, who was still hanging by the window, half of his body outside the building, his eyes watching you get up and follow Todoroki inside. His eyes focused on your coffee and watched it disappear with you in the building. The moment he lost you from his sight, he turned to Seki and raised an eyebrow. The leader had a plan...and a request.
Two days passed from your last visit to Oya High and you again were heading there. For what? Another meeting with your brother, this time to prepare a gift for your mother's birthday. You had a basic idea but wanted to talk it over with Todoroki.
The moment you appeared by the gate, Furuya greeted you with a mug of coffee in his hand that he immediately handed to you.
"Wow, thanks." You said with a smile. "Why, if I may?"
"You like it, right?" You nodded, the warmth from the coffee started to spread through your body. "We want you to feel comfortable here."
"Thank you." A smile appeared on your face, and you slowly walked to your brother's room.
It was a kind gesture and definitely made you feel welcome here.
"Quit smiling." Todoroki greeted you with an emotionless expression. "It's just coffee."
You rolled your eyes at his words, but didn't listen to him, a smile stayed on your lips as you two started talking about the present.
After around 40 minutes, someone knocked at the door, and with permission, they came in. It was Seki with a mug of another coffee for you. Saying you were confused and happy at the same time wouldn't be enough to describe what you were feeling. It's true, that you finished your previous coffee 5 minutes ago, but no one could possibly know about it. At least that's what you thought. You had no idea that Murayama was watching you from the window on the other side of the square, waiting for you to finish your coffee, only to send someone to bring you another. That was the plan he created two days ago.
After two hours, you decided to leave. Todoroki and you planned the gift and everything around it, so you were quite confident about it. During those two hours, you received coffee 4 times, always 5 minutes after you finished the previous one. It felt as if someone was watching you, but you couldn't find them.
"Leaving so soon?" While you were leaving, Murayama's voice stopped you midway.
"Yeah. We are done talking." You explained softly and looked at the leader who was sitting on the couch in the square. "Why?"
"Just asking." Yoshiki got up and stretched, then looked at you with an instant coffee in between his fingers. "What's so good about it?"
"It's tasty." You explained. "And warms me up."
"There is only sugar inside." Murayama threw the bag over his shoulder and hid his hands in his pockets. "I don't know how can you drink it. It's awful."
"I like it." You shrugged but smiled a moment later. "So you tried it."
"Not because I wanted to." The black-haired man rolled his eyes. "I had to see what's being used in my school."
You slowly nodded, a quiet hum left your lips as you watched Murayama avoid your eyes. You chuckled at his reaction but didn't say anything. Furthermore, you started to connect dots that it was him, who sent you coffee, but for now, you decided to keep it to yourself.
You might think, it was just Oya High being kind. Unfortunately, or fortunately, it wasn't that. Since your first visit to the school, whenever you met one of the students somewhere out, they gave you an instant coffee bag. Every. Fricking. Time.
"Murayama!" You decided to talk to the guy about the coffee issue.
"Me?" The man opened the door to his office and greeted you with a smirk.
"Yes, you." Without a warning, you walked into the room and immediately froze in place.
The room was filled with the boxes of your favorite coffee that you had been receiving, stored by the wall. It was more than you could comprehend.
"You....you bought it?" You turned his way and immediately noticed his smirk. "All of it?"
"Yeah." He nodded proudly. "But don't think it's because of you. The others like it too. They liked it before you."
You smiled and walked up to the window only to see that Furuya and Seki poured your favourite drink on the ground. It was too sweet for them, you could read that from their expression.
"Sure." You nodded and looked at Murayama who was watching you. "Let's say I believe you. Thank you for taking care of me."
The man only rolled his eyes and shifted in his place as if he was hiding something behind his back. And you were curious.
"What are you hiding?" You asked and walked up to him to look at what was on the counter behind him.
"Nothing." He moved to the side to cover the thing, and when you stepped the other way, he followed. "Go away."
"Show me." You insisted and tried to look over him, your hands rested on his shoulders while you lifted yourself on your toes. "Please."
"Go. Away." Murayama rested his palms against your shoulders and pushed you away from the counter.
But he didn't realise that by walking away, he opened the space behind him and exposed the thing he was hiding. The bouquet of flowers standing in the vase appeared in front of your eyes as you two walked away from the furniture making you gasp in admiration.
"Are those for me?" You asked carefully, as if scared of mistaking the situation.
"Yeah." Murayama tried to sound, and act, nonchalant when he handed you the flowers but your giggle caused his eyes to soften and cheeks turned pink. "But if you tell Todoroki, I will kick you out of here and never let in again."
You smiled widely and before leaving, you kissed Murayama's cheek. The flowers in your hands added some colour to the Oya's building as you walked through the halls with a smile. Your eyes were shining as if the miracle happened. For you, it wasn't a miracle but the happiest day. The flowers made you forget why you came to Oya today, the anger left your body and you left the school with happiness and this warm feeling in your chest.
And Murayama? He was watching you leave through the window in his office with a mug of your favourite coffee. He took a sip and immediately spit it out. Too sweet.

The convenience store was unusually quiet that evening. She was stacking cans behind the counter during a lull, chatting softly with her coworker to pass the time.
“You going to the festival tomorrow?” her coworker asked with a smile.
She nodded, a small, wistful smile playing on her lips. “Yeah… I’m planning to. I’ve never really been to one, not properly. But I don’t really have anyone to go with.”
Shoji stood just a few feet away, pretending to chat with Fujin and Raijin near the drink fridge. His posture was casual, but his eyes never fully left her. He knew better than to get too close when his friends were around—there were things he didn’t want dragging him down, and he wasn’t about to let anyone think they were more than just acquaintances.
Still, the moment the words left her lips, his fingers froze mid-motion as a shadow flickered across his usually composed face.
She didn’t realize he was still there. She always kept her guard up around him too—protecting herself from getting caught in whatever world his friends belonged to. They shared smiles and light teasing when alone, but with Fujin and Raijin nearby, distance was the safest option.
Shoji said nothing then. He knew she wasn’t ready to share more, and he wasn’t about to pry in front of his friends. But hearing her like that, so quietly vulnerable, made something in him shift.
When the night of the festival came, he was already there.

The summer festival was alive with colours and noise, a world away from the quiet convenience store where she usually worked. Lanterns hung like stars above the crowded streets, casting warm glows on faces flushed from excitement and sticky from festival treats.
She hadn’t been to a festival in years, and tonight was supposed to be special. She’d saved for weeks, promising herself a night out but the absence of a familiar face made the crowd suddenly feel overwhelming.
Her fingers trembled slightly as she reached for the paper scoop at a goldfish game stall. The thin paper tore easily, slipping beneath her grasp before she could catch even one. A soft sigh escaped her lips.
“You’re bad at hiding when you’re sulking.”
The voice was low but unmistakable. She turned sharply, heart skipping.
Shoji stood there, hands tucked casually in the pockets of his jeans. His usual blue jacket was folded over one arm, the sharp bruise on his cheek now faint in the festival’s glowing light. In his other hand, he held two bottles of ramune, the glass catching the lantern light like liquid stars.
“For company,” he said, offering her a bottle.
Her mouth went dry. “I didn’t expect to see you here.”
He shrugged, expression unreadable, but there was something softer in his eyes tonight. “Didn’t plan to come. Just… heard you didn’t have anyone to go with.”
"You're eavesdropping on me now?" She chuckled.
The simplicity of the statement caught her off guard. The crowded noise around them faded for a moment, replaced by a quiet she hadn’t known she was craving.
She accepted the bottle, the cool glass warm in her hands, and together they moved deeper into the festival.
Shoji didn’t say much, but his presence was grounding. As they weaved between booths selling candied apples and grilled corn, she noticed the way he subtly steered her away from groups of rowdy boys shouting insults in the distance—likely from one of the rival schools.
The lanterns swayed gently overhead, casting warm pools of light on the bustling festival streets. She kept close to Shoji’s side, grateful for the steady calm he brought to the noisy chaos around them.
As they weaved through clusters of laughing teenagers and families, a sudden shout startled her—someone bumped into her roughly, nearly making her stumble.
Without thinking, Shoji’s hand closed around hers, firm but gentle. The contact grounded her, steadying her heart as much as her footing.
For a moment, neither of them said a word. Their fingers intertwined naturally, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
She glanced up at him, surprised to find his usual sharp gaze softened by something like quiet protectiveness.
The crowd pressed around them, but in that simple touch, she felt like she wasn’t alone anymore.
They stopped by a ring toss game, the prizes bright and gaudy under a flickering light. With a teasing glance, she challenged, “Bet you can’t win.”
He shot her a rare smirk and picked up the rings. Each toss was precise, landing with a satisfying clink on the bottles. When the last ring dropped perfectly over the top, he turned to her, holding out a small plush keychain—a chubby tanuki with a mischievous grin.
“For the onigiri,” he said softly.
She laughed, the sound light and easy, fingers brushing against his as she took the prize.
As the sky darkened further, the first fireworks exploded in bursts of red and gold. They found a spot on a nearby rooftop—quiet, removed from the bustling crowd below. The glow of the fireworks illuminated Shoji’s profile, softening his usually sharp features.
“I never knew you liked festivals,” she said, watching the colourful explosions paint the sky.
He shrugged, eyes fixed on the lights. “I don’t.”
She frowned. “Then why are you here?”
Shoji’s gaze shifted to her, steady and direct. “Because you were alone. Because sometimes even the strongest need company.”
The confession was almost too quiet to hear, but it lingered between them like a fragile promise.
When the show ended, they descended back to the street. The warm summer night smelled of grilled food and laughter, but the walk home felt calm, private.
At her street corner, Shoji stopped, his fingers still laced with hers.
“Same time tomorrow?” he asked.
She smiled, a little breathless. “For onigiri?”
His smirk was slow, deliberate, but there was something vulnerable in his eyes she hadn’t seen before.
“No,” he said, stepping a little closer, “To see you. And maybe… something more.”
Her cheeks flushed, and she swallowed hard.
Shoji’s hand lingered near her face, thumb lightly tracing her cheek.
She froze, breath catching at the unexpected touch. Then, before she could think twice, he leaned in. His hand wrapped around her waist, the other gently pulling her face closer. She closed her eyes, and felt his lips finally— ever so gently— touch hers.
The kiss was soft, careful, like testing the waters, but full of all the things unspoken between them: gratitude, curiosity, something tender hiding beneath the tough exterior.
Her eyes fluttered closed, and when they parted, Shoji rested his forehead against hers, voice barely a whisper.
“I’ve been coming back… not just for the onigiri”
She smiled, breathless and warm, the city lights around them suddenly brighter, the night full of possibility.

“You’ve scuffed your shoes, ducky.” You look down at said sneakers, seeing the streak of black across the lightened color. Tsuji raises an eyebrow over his sunglasses, tapping the edge of your shoe with his own. “Boss’ll be pissed.”
Shibaman tsks, tapping your shoulder playfully. “You just got those!”
You roll your eyes, trying to hold your smile and keep your face stern. “Why are you two more concerned about my shoes than me?”
It’s Shibaman who laughs first — a loud, rattling laugh that seems to shake the bus you’re on. Tsuji keeps quiet but grins, shaking his head as your own cackle builds up.
And then the bus is halted to a screeching stop.
Standing cautiously, two hands are held out to you silently. Stay here, they plead. Stay where it’s safe. We’ll check it out.
You do as they silently advise, peeking out of the bus window to see a crowd of high schoolers. You gulp, phone trembling in your hand as you send your brother a message you hope he receives.
“Oh, Todoroki!” A voice calls out. A breath leaves your parted lips, shaking the whole way through. “We’re just looking for your pal, Todoroki.”
Maybe you could distract them for a bit — cause chaos long enough for help to arrive. With that thought in mind, you and your newly scuffed shoes make your way down the empty bus aisle. Wobbly knees hinge until you’re standing on the last step.
It’s silent, all eyes on you as you land onto the street.
“Yes?” You say, poised and calm as if your heart isn’t racing in your chest. Shibaman is on your left instantly, his elbow nudging until your back is to the bus. Tsuji covers you both.
A voice creeps up, “who’s this?”
Your head is held high, chin pointed forward. “Todoroki. You were calling for me…?”
A boy — in a uniform your brother used to wear — steps through the crowd. His hair is braided into boxer braids, eyes narrow as he looks you over. “You. What do you know about Todoroki?”
You gulp. Tsuji is looking at you from the corner of his eye — nothing. Say nothing. You heed his warning, “why?”
A loud laugh — stinging and awful to your confidence — pierces through the quiet abruptly. The stranger claps, “what the hell is this? A joke?”
Braid boy holds a hand out, silencing him at once. His eyes haven’t left you — your own gaze has dropped to Shibaman’s shoes. “You. Why do you know Todoroki?”
“Brother,” it’s out before you can think, “he’s my brother.” Tsuji closes his eyes — Shibaman tenses even further. You raise your eyes to him, “what do you want with him?”
“Oh this is our lucky day!”
“A new toy to play with!”
“Todoroki? A brother?”
“Ducky.” Shibaman has leaned in to speak lowly in your ear. “When Tsuji says so, run. Until you get to town ; until you get to Oya. You run.”
“But—“
“Little duck,” Tsuji’s smile is weak ; submitted, “do as we say.”
Before you can move, arms are wrapped into your own. With a screech, you kick and wiggle as hard as you can. Tsuji lets out a yell, but is soon surrounded and fighting on his own. Shibaman frees you before another crowd is around him.
Warm, calloused hands grab you by the upper arm, pulling you from the fights. You yell out for your friends — this was an abush and they could be killed. Tsuji alreadys sounds weakened and you can no longer see Shibaman.
"Stay," it's breathed against your ear. You are turned around, away from the view of the fight and closer to the surrounding buildings. "Stay out of the fight. It's safe over here."
"Let me go!"
Your friends' pained yells echo in your ears, bouncing in and out of your thoughts. Braid boy stands in front of you now, his hands cupping your own as he places them over your ears as he watched the fight over your shoulder. His eyes meet yours, "they wanted to protect you, right? Stay here."
Tears well up into your eyes before you can stop them. Your lower lip wobbles — you can still hear the fight, muffled as it was. Braid boy softens at your tears, his shoulders drooping. "Oh, don't—"
"Your turn, cutie!"
"Hey!" A hand reaches, grasping at your bag before you're pulled away from it. Braid boy snarls — he's no longer the softened, tender boy you were staring at previously. "This one's off limits. Time to go."
Various groans of refusal are heard — braid boy's voice deepens. "I said time to go!"
As he leaves, his eyes meet your tear-stained ones one last time. His mouth parts, going to speak, before he shakes his head and simply leaves.
Your knees hit the concrete below you as you kneel between Shiba and Tsuji. Hiccuping, you shakily type a number on your phone. He picks up after the third ring. "Yosuke? I— there was an accident."

Your brother leads you aimlessly, telling you about his recent fishing trip. He denies letting you meet this Odajima friend of his — must be a cute guy, then. You frown behind him, squinting with your arms crossed. "Are you leading me to a trap? I've broken Tsuji's nose before, you know."
"I remember," your brother lets out a bark of a laugh. Todoroki stuffs his hands in his pockets, "that was funny. You should do it again."
"To who? Fujio? Yasushi? Their reactions would be funny."
A throat is cleared in front of you, the sound of shoes shuffling against pavement paired with it. You look up, eyes widening. "Hello."
Braid boy stands in front of you, braids gone from his hair. It hangs loosely to his cheekbones, his shirt messily tucked in and arms stiffly at his sides. Your brother tilts his head, "you're early."
You whip your head his way, "you're friendly with this guy? After that fight he caused?"
"Well," Todoroki crosses his arms, "we came to an agreement."
Your eye twitches. "What sort of agreement, brother?"
The stranger clears his throat again. He bows at the waist, hair curtaining in front of him. "I owe you an apology, as well. We didn't know you'd be with the Oya boys. You shouldn't have seen that fight."
"I've seen other fights before," you speak stubbornly. Todoroki bumps your arm, giving you a stern look. You sigh, "okay. Apology accepted. Now what?"
He stands once more, twiddling with his fingers as he looks to the side. Todoroki lets out his own sigh, rolling his eyes. "Todoroki [Name], this is Sanemoa Shoji. Shoji thinks you're pretty and wants to take you out. Do you accept?"
Shoji frowns, "why so formal..."
"I—" you look over the boy once more, seeing his heavily pierced ears and bruises on his skin. Usually, you were kept away from any delinquents. But, if your brother was urging you towards this one...
"Sure," you say, "let's go on a date."
Todoroki scoots his glasses up, calm and friendly facade dropping as he glares Shoji's way. "Come back no later than nine tonight. I'll be timing you."

When Shoji entered the big hall at the school as usual, he looked at the duo in surprise when he heard Fujin and Rajin's shouts. His surprise increased when he saw the Ebara students kneeling on the ground.
"Hey! What's happening ?"
He was used to this view because they dealt with a different trouble every day. But he still had no idea what was happening now.
Fujin looked at his friend entering the door and told him to come over. When the young boy walked in front of the students and saw that they had been beaten, he frowned.
"Who the hell did this?"
When they remained silent, Raijin spoke in a mocking tone.
“Be prepared for what you will hear, Same. Because these fools say that a young high school girl beat them.”
When Shoji looked at the boys on the ground in surprise, he saw that they all bowed their heads in shame. Although it surprised him that a single girl beat up several people, anything could happen in this city.
“Tell me exactly where she is.”

Shoji smiled when Fujin rolled his eyes and spoke.

When he arrived at the location the boys said, Shoji found himself in front of a girls' high school. Although he still found it strange that a really high school girl was beating up his friends, he started to look around.
It wasn't long after school ending time. After walking around the school for a while, he turned his gaze to see two people fighting.
A tall boy and… A tall boy and a young girl were arguing. More precisely, the male was shouting. When the boy tried to hit the young girl, Shoji was about to walk there, but he stopped in surprise when the young girl punched him. He couldn't see the girl's face clearly, her back was turned, but he was sure that she was the girl his friends were talking about.
This time the young girl shouted at the boy in front of her. Before the fight escalated, the young boy took his bag and ran away. Shoji was watching in surprise.
The young girl put her bag on her arm again and looked around. She frowned when she saw the black haired boy watching her. He looked quite familiar.
They both shouted at the same time, pointing at each other with their index fingers.
“Shoji!” “Y/n!”
Shoji looked at the girl coming towards him in surprise. He really didn't expect to see her after so many years.
“Shoji-kun! I had a hard time getting to recognize you. How much you have changed!”
The young boy shook his head silently. Was the person who beat his friends really his childhood crush?
“You're still pretty calm and cool, huh? The only thing that changes should be your appearance.By the way I liked your hair."
Shoji smiled shyly as Y/n smiled, pointing at the young boy's braided hair. Years had passed but she was still quite beautiful. He thought he had forgotten her, but why were his cheeks getting hot?
"Aren't you going to say something?"
When the young girl asked in surprise, Shoji shook his head.
“I wasn't expecting to see you, y/n-chan. You were definitely not the person I particularly expected to see here."
“Huh? What does this mean?”
Shoji scratched the back of his neck with his hand and thought about how he should explain it. When he saw the young girl looking at him with frowned eyebrows, he realized that he owed her an explanation.
He told her that a few students got beaten up today and they said that the one who beat them was a girl from here. He said he didn't believe it, but wasn't surprised after what he had just seen.
Y/n smiled and nodded.
“Did those bastards tell you why I beat them?”
“So it was really you?” The young boy frowned.
Y/n smiled and nodded. She put her hands in her jacket pockets and shrugged.
“Next time I see them harassing the girls at my school, you can be sure that I will bring your school down on you.”
Even though the young girl said it with a smile, Shoji could feel that scary atmosphere. To find out in more detail how the incident actually happened, he asked again and listened to the young girl. He had agreed with her, they deserved the beating they received. But he still couldn't hide his surprise that the young girl was like him.
“So… you are from this high school, right?”
Y/n smiled and nodded.
“I'm not just a student of this place. I am also the leader of this school.”
Shoji's eyes widened as y/n grinned.

Shoji Sameoka was a quiet person. Even though he was quite loud when fighting, he didn't like to comment on everything and didn't talk to everyone. Although he usually appeared as a cold person, one person knew how nice he could be to those he loved.
Y/n was never afraid of him. Shoji might seem like a creepy delinquent at first glance. But she knew that he always stayed away from stupid fights.
He didn't like physical contact. Or so people thought. But when he saw his girlfriend, he wanted to hug her.
Just like today.
Y/n quietly walked through the school gates and looked around. Shoji was nowhere to be seen. She was lucky.
Her slow steps became even slower due to the pain in her stomach. After a while, it hurt so much that she held her stomach and stopped her steps.
How long had she been suffering from this pain? How long had she been hiding it from everyone?
She could feel her eyes darken as these questions ran through her mind. Her legs couldn't carry her anymore. She didn't want to fall to the ground, what would she say to people?
Y/n didn't fall down, her boyfriend was there for her just in time. She didn't hit her head on the ground, Shoji gently held her in his arms.
She heard her name was called many times. She heard her boyfriend calling her name many times. But she couldn't answer. She couldn't open her eyes.
Then she remembered last night. A “usual”night when her father came home drunk. A “usual”kick to her stomach.
First he beat her mother. “Please don't” she shouted, but he didn't listen. Then it was her turn. She didn't want her boyfriend to see the bruise on her stomach.
Shoji could hear the young girl's murmurings. What shouldn't he have done? Who did what? Why wasn't she waking up?
He entered the infirmary door and put the young girl on the bed. When the doctor arrived, he took a few steps back and looked at his girlfriend one last time before the doctor took him out.
Whoever frightened and injured her, he would find them. He always would.

Description- shoji is the quite one in your relationship, so what happens when you prank him by trying to be the quite one .
"Shoji is not gonna like this " raijin chuckled on the call, "he is gonna get mad for sure " fujin whispered already tired of your and raijins stupid pranks which are gonna get both of them in trouble for sure, not you, shoji adored you more the anything, he was famously known for beating up people but you , not you he was always the softest to you. That's why you kept wanting to reil him up , to piss him off.
Shoji was sitting across from you on the coffee shop table. Most of the time on dates like this , you would be running your mouth, telling shoji about your day, while he would look at you with neutral expression with occasional chuckles and a raised eyebrow . But right now you were sipping on your drink , while looking at your laptop (which included just some random paperwork , which you didn't care about ) and shoji was drinking his coffee in a weird silence, waiting for you to say something, he tried to start a conversation "how was your day, love ?" and it took everything in you to not tell him about the cats you saw outside your school but you just said "nothing special just school and stuff , how was your day ?" shoji just went quite for a moment before replying "good just same old" and that's how your whole date went .
Shoji tried to ignore it , that gnawing feeling in his chest , that made him want to kneel on the ground and ask for forgiveness. It happened when he was walking you to your house. "Y/n , did I do something? " he had his usual serious expression but the softness in his eyes made you smile "nothing " you said while trying to hold back your laughter, but shoji was better at reading your expression then anyone. "It was raijin and fujin , right?" It was more a fact then a guess . Shoji quitely take you to his own apartment "I will deal with them later , but before that you will tell me about your day " Shoji declared as he sat you down on his bed .
Next day fujins statement came true shoji was mad and they were the victims of his anger , while you received boba , lots of kisses and a promise to get daily info about his activities.

Random background on me as a person: I’ve always been a strong believer that the media we consume can affect/leave an impact on us and how we act, go about life, perceive the world, etc. I’ve done this my whole life, on top of being a fangirl I OVERTHINK about the plot, the characters, the ships, everything. Adding to that, when I hyper fixate on a piece of media I get so invested I pay attention to all the tiny details and micro-analyze characters and their backstories and tie it back to how they act in the story.
Last semester I got to do this in class because I enrolled in a storytelling course and basically the whole time my professor gave us stories to read or movies to watch and then we had to relate it back to real life and analyze the characters behaviors, how they interacted with others, the story themes, etc. Hopefully my professor is proud I continue to use what I learned in their class to apply to my hyper fixation on other fictional characters outside of the course😂
If you look at Cobra and Fujio’s characters on the surface, they might not seem similar. Fujio has a very golden retriever like energy to himself. He’s very extroverted, loud, friendly, bright, and overall very playful and doesn’t take anything too seriously unless the situation calls for it. In contrast, Cobra is more somber and serious. Cobra is more quiet, reserved, very serious, and had a relatively calm demeanor. Well, S.W.O.R.D. Era Cobra is super serious, whereas Mugen Era Cobra isn’t.
Personality wise, Mugen Era Cobra and Fujio are the same. They’re a little bit closer in age, and Cobra is definitely more upbeat during this time period. Maybe even a little less mature in a sense.
Obviously when we meet Cobra we see that he’s gone through a lot to become the person we know him as. Noboru got arrested and couldn’t continue school, Tatsuya was killed, Kohaku disappeared. Eventually Cobra has to take charge and be Sannoh’s leader, deal with Kuryu’s stinky asses, hits a rough patch with some Sannoh members leaving, losing Smoky, you get the point. All this loss and grief causes him to lose his playful demeanor and it’s understandable. Honestly if H&L The Worst X was as serious as any of the first three movies where characters died and Tsukasa died instead of only ending up in the hospital after Amagai dropped his ass from the gym balcony, that shit would’ve sent Fujio into his depresso espresso era also 100%
But yeah, it might not seem like Fujio and Cobra are alike at first until you dive in a little deeper. Let’s start with something small first.
1) Cobra and Fujio’s styling
Something small I noticed was that both characters are styled with a black bandanna in their right pocket. We see this when Cobra interrupts Ranmaru and Rocky’s fight in the second movie and hands Rocky the bandanna after telling him he looked a mess😂 This might also just be Cobra’s way of remembering or holding onto his memories of Mugen because I’m pretty sure all the Mugen members had bandannas on their person but once we enter S.W.O.R.D. Era no one else not even Yamato have a bandanna on them anymore so I think my point stands.
Fujio is the only character I see during The Worst era who has a bandanna tucked into the right pocket of his pants.
2) Both are leaders/have leader mentality
This one is kind of obvious also but let me explain.
Cobra goes on to establish Sannoh and is the leader as well. I admire the way Cobra leads his members. He’s very understanding even if the opinions are different. We see this showcased with Noboru during Road to High&Low when Cobra acknowledges that he knows Noboru is trying to act in the best interest of his friends he’s just going about it in the wrong way. We also see this when Dan, Tettsu, Chiharu, and a few other members walk out of the fight with Doubt. Cobra acknowledges that friends sometimes are not on the same side and that it’s okay when that happens.
Fujio right off the bat has a goal in mind to unite all of Oya, this plays into his leadership style we see throughout both Worst movies. Fujio is a very charismatic person. Right as he enters Oya, he’s able to get many followers without asserting strength or dominance over all of Oya (something Todoroki has been trying to do but can’t achieve. Fight me if you want on this but I don’t think Todoroki would be a good leader lol. That’s a post for another time). We see this when Nakagoshi and Nakaoka agree to follow Fujio in the gym. Yes, Fujio fought with YasuKiyo faction but other than that he doesn’t get into another fight with the other factions. When Yasushi is hospitalized, Fujio at this point isn’t officially Oya’s leader yet but everyone looks to him to see what happens from here. With the mentality of bringing everyone together, Fujio makes it clear that what happened to Yasushi isn’t just a YasuKiyo problem but an Oya problem which prompts the Oya boys to work together to fight with Housen.
So how does this tie the two together?
Both characters have strong leadership skills. Granted they differ slightly but the overall style and tone they take on is that no one gets left behind and that even when the crisis doesn’t directly impact them in anyway, both characters are still willing to jump in to help others.
3) Both see the importance of friendship and the strength of a true alliance
I really do think that friendship kept Cobra going in life. Sometimes it felt like that man was one more crisis away from completely swirling into self destructive behavior but his friendships pulled him out of that. An example of this is how he holds onto Kohaku’s words and teachings to help in certain situations such as the one involving Noboru and Kohaku himself when they are begging him to leave Kuryu and come back to himself.
Fujio being a school aged character we’re obviously gonna see more of his friendships because at that age that’s one of the bigger focuses in life. We see how friendship kept him from being sad and lonely as a kid because his mother was working a lot that’s why he spent time with Seiji, Madoka, and all of them. As a teenager now, his friendship with them is still strong considering this boy literally jumps into a crack farm to pull Arata out of the shit he got himself into. During The Worst X this boy literally becomes friends with the strongest person canonically in the series and then spends the second half of the movie fighting to get his best friend back from being captured.
Both characters directly state the alliance part in their movies.
While Cobra fights Jesse, he tells him something along the lines of “you guys are just a bunch of strays, are you prepared as he is?” Referring to how he knows Rocky has been prepared for this fight from the get go. On top of that, Cobra was the S.W.O.R.D. Leader who suggested the alliance in the first place knowing that they would be stronger together against Kuryu. End of Sky doesn’t focus as much on Kuryu as it does Doubt but it leads into Kuryu so I think this is fitting. Cobra knows that the Prison Gang, Mighty, and Doubt working together would never actually work because they don’t have a bond to fight together they’re just getting a job done. Hyuga even points out that he can’t trust Ranmaru because he throws his men away like they’re trash.
I think this applies to the first movie as well. Cobra knows that Kuryu, Jansung, Mighty Warriors, and Kohaku would not work because it wasn’t a true alliance it was simply made to get a job done. This leads him to suggesting the alliance in the second film.
When H&L The Worst X comes around, we know that Fujio is seen as the leader of Oya and he values his friends a lot. He doesn’t usually refer to the Oya students as troops or comrades unless the situation warrants it, he refers to everyone as friends and also mentions how everyone became friends through fighting. On the rooftop when Todoroki asks if Fujio going against what he thinks is best means that Fujio no longer needs him, but Fujio is quick to tell him that’s not what is going on at all; rather that he has a solution and is willing to set his pride aside for his friends. He then proceeds to tell the remaining Oya guys that the other schools created an alliance but “let’s show them what a real alliance looks like”. This is because Fujio’s thoughts are the same as Cobra’s. Senomon, Kamasaka, and Ebara may have created an alliance but there is no friendship or bond in it, therefore this alliance wouldn’t work or last long. We even see this when Ebara drop out of the alliance. Had Shoji, Fujin, or Raijin been friends with any of the guys from the other schools they probably wouldn’t agree to the rules Todoroki set for their fight. But it’s the fact that they are friends and care for each other that Shoji agrees to Todoroki’s terms. Shoji knows that the other schools are shady so he’s gonna take the opportunity to get the people he actually cares about out of that alliance.
Fujio’s monologue at the end of his fight with Suzaki even highlights the importance of friendship. We see in the first Worst movie that Fujio wants to become the best and be at the top. In The Worst X cross after he reads Sachio’s letter, Jamuo catches him staring at the clouds and tells him he won’t be able to do much with his head in the clouds. To which Fujio proceeds to tell him “being born a man I always felt I needed to be the greatest, but maybe being at the top doesn’t make me a great man.” When Suzaki loses the fight and says that from now on Senomon would be tools for Oya to use, Fujio is quick to shut that mentality down; telling Suzaki that it’s just one fight he lost, and that it doesn’t mean anything. His monologue goes into how it doesn’t matter who’s at the top and who isn’t because look at all the friends around you who are willing to fight for and with you (granted Suzaki and Amagai have no real friends besides each other but I digress pop off inspirational Fujio).
You’ve made it to the end! I know this is just a long rant post and the thoughts aren’t super organized and might not be well explained but it made sense to me so here we are😂

I have a 3 part H&L series based off the song Hate You by Jungkook in the works, it’s just taking a while to write because there are so many characters to write for.
I also have a story for Hiroto and one for Ice in the works. I genuinely didn’t think I would be writing anything for Mighty because I have a love hate relationship with those characters but I have a plot I consistently think about and think that Ice works best with it so that story will be out eventually also.
I'm just saying, right now: if Hyuga Norihisa wasn't fictional, and I'm having one of those evenings when I actually want to give a hug or two, this is literally how it would be.
Being loved by cobra feels like sitting on the beach and hearing the waves crash with each other. He is soo calm and quiet, but his life doesn't let him be calm and quiet. But still cobra loves you more than anything . Sometimes the water is just soo quiet ,it's peace and just another second a tsunami is coming your way ,but he will never let you be dragged away .

being loved by rocky feels like living in your favorite dark romance novel. Oh God, this man he will kill for you , he will die for you and he is not afraid to tell you the things he did . The whole world can burn around you but he will not let even a flame touch you . Gives you the QUEEN treatment.
Murayama-
being in loved by murayama feels like a escape from reality. You can laugh freely, cry freely and live freely. You can dance like a crazy woman on the streets but he will still look at you like he is sooo in love with you . The problems are still there but in the end , you both always somehow fight through it .
Hyuga -
being loved by norihisa feels like being drugged . You know it's bad for you but you couldn’t give a fuck . Because he makes it feel soo good. You might try to run away but somehow he always manages to bring you back to him . It's hard to admit but you both can't live without each other .
Smoky -
being loved by smoky feels like being stuck in a room with your favorite things. You love it you got a home , you got a family , you got the love of your life but you are stuck , you are not allowed to leave him ( not like you want to ) . You are one of the few people who love smoky not just as a savior but also as a mere human being. You are like oxygen to him.

It's Okey to cry I am here for you, my love " . I feel my eyes burning, tears sliping one after another, I try to stop myself but her hands storking my back doesn't help much. I pull her closer to me burying my head in her chest,I might die if I don't. " I love you, nori " she whispers and I feel the rumble in her chest , I feel this pain in my heart, a sudden arge to tell her how much I love, a sudden arge to tell her how I can't fucking live without her , a sudden arge to kiss her so hard and never pull away . But I can't because I can't stop fucking crying so I do the next best thing possible, I tighten my hands around her waist pulling her even close, if that is possible and start crying harder. Troublesome women.
