When Gorillaz blew up everywhere around 2001 everyone praised their unique and edgy aesthetic... Without knowing that Murdoc wasn't actually the genius behind it.

It turns that Murdoc had keept Sona's concepts after their break up without her knowledge, and now she was MAD. So mad she took the band to court in september.

She didn't wanted money, she just wanted to be credited for her basically stolen art and obviously get revenge on Murdoc for what he did... Though, the green man obviously had a trick under his sleeve.

He accused Sona of a terrorism attempt, faked evidence of her trying to blow up Kong Studios and called himself a victim. The justice believed him, and Sona was send to prision for two years. The Rock The House video released that day to mock her.

He's Murdoc from my other arts, I'm still a bit messy with my gorillaz au's but he's basically phase 1-2 Murdoc a little less evil cuz he actually likes 2D and it's just an stupid british man that wants to have a band.

In this au Gorillaz wasn't really a hit, so they survive and make silly things... He also had a child with 2D cof cof...

He has longer hair than the other Murdocs and looks younger (?)

Sona and Murdoc (1999)

Murdoc Niccalls has always been the type of man that doesn't have any interest on having long-term relationships or even a relationship itself... But all that semmed to change when he began to appear with an strange girl that didn't even spoke English.

Sonatta was an inmigrant, she came from Argentina though her parents are from Sind, India. She wanted to study fashion desing in England and meet Murdoc in a bar. Somehow, they conected with eachother, and some months later began to date formally. Murdoc wanted her to become his stylist since he appreciated her unique taste, she was the one who realized the first concepts of the álbum "Gorillaz" even before they were "Gorillaz".

When they meet Stuart Pot and Paula Cracker, though, a tension began to build between them. Sona always liked Murdoc's Bad-boy acctitude, but since he crashed his car into Stuart she began to question if she really wanted to stay with someone like him...

The world itself gave her the answer, in their own anniversary, during a party in Kong Studios, she found him having sex with Paula Cracker in the toilets, breaking up with him in that moment and leaving the place with a broken heart...
