対決。- Confrontation [CA OPEN]
"I’m a priest", Pucci replied curtly. The young man didn’t seem to have any unusual attributes, not on the surface at least. Mannerism wasn’t much unlike Pucci’s own - mostly calm and well-behaving. What caught Pucci’s attention were the books that had dropped on the ground.
City records?
It seemed that this young man’s reading material consisted mostly of those. Pucci glanced through what his eyes managed to meet quickly while the other was picking them up.
For what does one need to those for?
Several possibilities crossed Pucci’s mind. One could be simply interested of such in general but more common reason was that they were simply looking for someone or trying to gain power through knowledge…. It was difficult to say anything conclusive but while Pucci found it entirely possible
Pucci layed his own books on the nearest table in order to give a hand in picking up the books In the end he wasn’t really expecting anything terribly odd to pop out but he was still curious, so he also picked up a few books. Before he shifted his look back to the thicker book his eyes remained on the ones he was holding.
"That one", he said using friendly tone, “it seems a little too thick one for night reading."
"Whatever brought you such interest? I rarely see young people going through such thick directories."
..But of course Kira knew that this question would come along sooner or later, he just would of hoped it would of came more late than soon. His judgments were most correct, a book of this mass couldn't be anything light in mind.
「 "To know what I'm up against. Surely there is no God to protect in a city such as this." 」
He really didn't need to impose with helping Kira, the books were the least of his worries as soon as Pucci had began to fire questions. Since the population has been increasing drastically over the past month, Light felt the need to extend his knowledge and really get a better idea of each and every resident. He had just hoped this literature wasn't publishing any false information, after all the writers would be wise if they hid some information from the deathnote owner.
Yagami held the books towards his chest while he held the priests gaze. Wondering if his words a few moments ago struck any nerve in the man, surely they believed in some sort of a god if Hive had a hired priest walking around.

One of the only places Light has never visited as long as he has been here in Hive, was the small grassy knoll that nobody seemed to tread across. For a minute Kira thought that he had been the only person to come across such a rare place, the city had been overrun with pollution and whose to say that this grassy field wouldn't be turned into another stack of buildings by tomorrow. Out of everyone that he had met so far, he was the most understanding when it came to anything dramatic or surreal. Being that he had the ability to end ones life if he so chose or had the need to, he would be the last person that would doubt ones unnatural sounding abilities.
He didn't have much friends here or even back home. But that was the road he had paved for himself when he decided to keep the deathnote and use it to its full wrath of an extent. His expression was full of gloom and undeniably sullen. Light's own attitude has lead him to ignore the one girl who mattered most to him and since then he hadn't seen her or heard from the girl in a number of days. Kira could no longer use the excuse that he was 'only human' because that would be a complete lie.
Halfway through the meadow he had found a large boulder in which he had taken a seat on. The shade of the tree above was minimal, seeing as this portion of the city had started to be neglected and the rain had never reached this part of nature. However, the wind was soothing and that was enough for him to lay back on the huge rock and shut his eyes for a few moments and talk to himself.
「 "I wonder if the city extends underground. ." 」
Wave of Memories [closed]
Wandering around the more educational part of Hive, he was was trying to explore every inch this city had to offer. A few thoughts had passed his mind if he would want to return to school, study into psychology to really get into the mind of those whom he wants to deceive. As hard as old habits die, with giving it much though.. why stop his reign in Tokyo when he could start new in this city? Surely he would need the best of the best within his studies if he so decided to return to college. Maybe he could have a bright mind to learn from.
Entering the grand doors he found himself in a surge of bodies whom had either been late to class or overly anxious to learn some more. Being pushed into the wall hadn't bothered him a bit, it was more or so the faint whisper within his own mind that sparked his attention. It wasn't his shinigami speaking to him, or any of the others up in their decrepit world they call home - it was a human mans voice tapping into his brain. Strange indeed.
Light was aware he needed some sort of pass in order to walk along the hallways and include himself in on a class he wanted to see - but he ignored that as well and continued forward. The whispering had stopped, even though he couldn't full understand what the guy was saying, the buzzing had started to give him a familiar headache.
Before he knew it, the hallways had been emptied before he could have another chance to blink.
「 "Hello?. ." 」His voice had echoed for a few seconds before he was nearly given a heart attack with someone who had answered his greeting.

Light had been visiting the shopping sector this evening in hopes that he could surprise his girlfriend with a few things for her own apartment. It had been years since the two of them had seen each other, and Light had his fair share of making up for lost time. He wasn't one to know exactly what to get other than flowers and possibly an elaborate vase if he wanted to play it safe. As for chocolates, that would be a serious mistake on his behalf: woman love sweets but instantly accuse you of making them fat.
None of the stores that had flowers seemed within quality, most were already wilting and giving a woman a wilted flower was a sure way of saying either goodbye or how much you despise them. He could at least get a vase or a homemade pot at a interior decorations store.
A few people had been running out of that store, making him second guess his idea of flowers all together. But why were the people screaming? and why was there crashing noises? Being the curious guy that he is, Light took it upon himself to assess the situation.
Eyes widening as soon as Kira entered the building, a little green guy had been hitting the majority of the items and destroying them. Light couldn't understand what he had been yelling, or what he had been looking for exactly, but he didn't want to get in his way of his rage fit.
「 "H-Hey.." 」Was all he could get out of the guy just as he had ran past Light and off down the street. The shop workers had been frazzled, and the owner had been enraged and on the verge of calling the guards to take care of things. Kira wanted to know who this person was and why he took it upon himself to sabotage the owners store by crashing all of those beautiful pots. So off he went.

His death had felt like an ongoing flight into a burst of brightness even though the past few years he had done the world wrong. The stairs were cold, and his blood had been slowly leaving his body until he had begun to feel a short puff of air enter his lungs and his body was reluctantly reanimated. Nothing but confusion entered his mind as to how he had been brought back to the living; and where was his damn notebook?
The sun was shining, and he had guessed the morning was just to begin by the sun just above the horizon. Taking his gaze to a shining surface within the industrial structures surface, he noticed his eyes had been glowing a more prominent hue of red than he has ever seen before. By no means was he a zombie, he still had a rapid pulse and his skin had been beginning to warm up from the instance he had awoken. Light never believed in white magic, or magic at all - but after this incident he really had to talk some time and mull things over.
Tokyo. Still as large as he remembered, full of both professional and unique beings that walked the streets. Kira had gotten a few bad glances in his way, striking a bit of a panic if his identity had been revealed to the world or if they were just gawking at the ridiculous amount of blood soaked into his prim clothes. Lucky for him, many harajuku events had been happening downtown, Light would be more able to hide within the many freaks that decided to parade in groups.
Squinting past the crowds he had noticed a girl whom had been wearing a more modern version of a kimono with a magical staff in hand. She looked confused like a missing part to a thousand piece puzzle. Anyone new to this area would quickly feel small, the population had been growing and the last time he had checked it wasn't going to start slowing down any time soon.
「 "Hey-" 」He was quick to hold his tongue when he had noticed just a short distance away from the female had been his long time rival. But how? He had killed him with the help of Misa. By the looks of it he had been on the same page as Light, making their way to the same exact girl whom looked to have the most amazing holy abilities.

{While this stranger was rude he did happen to be slightly interesting. As his eyes flickered from brown to a color that matched the stains on her dress she took quite an interest in him. He certainly was not an ordinary person and while Schnee usually payed no mind to those of common status he was someone to keep an eye on. Although despite his physical changes the princess was thoroughly unimpressed by the other’s supposed ‘fighting’ words.}
“I have no arguments against that for I never said I was honest nor do I admit that I have lied thus far.”
{Skillful truth telling was what the maiden wished to call it. An outright lie never left her lips only select information. Of course she did not always use this method. Sometimes lies were necessary and she never once regretted telling one for the sake of the better good. The better good obviously meant whatever was in her best interests but again another detail left for another day. She was always one who lived in the moment for her guest of honor was not the only one brought back from beyond the grave. Admittedly she had only spent a matter of minutes in the sinking despair but it was enough to have an effect on her way of life.}
“Well, since you asked so politely I will gladly bestow it upon you once you give me yours. A lady cannot simply give her name to an unnamed man.”
{One may think Schnee had lived a charmed life as a princess from a kingdom far away and they would have been right if her stepmother had not come into the picture. More than once had her life been threatened by the envious queen. Dancing with death was something she had mastered and many had come to the conclusion that she was very hard to kill for she had trouble staying dead.}
In the back of his mind he had despised this petite woman from acting as the decider of which soul got to keep their small life, but then again that would make him a hypocrite and Light didn't like to admit when he was wrong. Kira had though he would pass this girl by, leave her along to torture anything else to keep her mind busy; but leaving such a cruel mind to wander alone would be a mistake on his behalf - he could use such a person to join him in cleaning the streets of those whom were most poisonous or a threat to the city. She was smarter than most that's for sure, some girls were quick to give their names to a handsome man whereas this girl kept that wall impenetrable. Well played.
「 "Kira. Shall I bow now or give you a handshake? " 」
Either way he didn't care much, to him she was equivalent with or without golden jewelry adorning her body. To Light he had his own golden band, but around his head just as a halo would, but then again he was classified as a psychopath in which imagined the most imaginable. People were naive - so quick to immediately believe their bible and fear demons. Of course none of them ever thought of the Gods of Death, the men and woman that stand day by day by their living bodies waiting for their internal clock to run down to zero. The shinigami's were invisible to the human eye, Light was lucky enough to stumble upon on of their deathnotes - but of course you need to make a sacrifice, play a gambling game with the gods. Anyone could touch the notebook and see the ghoulish figures, but it would be pointless to write a name down if you hadn't a face to pair it with. Light had a detailed image of the princess before him, but no name. Nicknames were fruitless, and unlike his blonde girlfriend he lacked the ability to see the persons true name floating above their head. Kira didn't hold his his hand, and her certainly wasn't about to bow to her just yet - he wanted details and possibly befriend her as an ally.
But did she possess any value to the Kira? Surely she had her secrets, hidden abilities even. It would only be a matter of time in which he would learn about all of them or vice versa she would learn all about him.
新生。ー( Rebirth )
If only Rise had the slightest idea of who she was about to have dinner with she probably would’ve lost her shit. But in Inaba they never heard of Kira (or in her world) and he seemed like the most normal man in the world, sharing information as of her real name or what she did for the living seemed like a normal thing to share in a conversation to her. She did know that sometimes looks deceive, Adachi was the living proof of it, so she could never be 100% certain of what ever crossed his mind.
Rise walked inside the sushi place and sat down though the seats were kind of rusty and somehow uncomfortable but she had been nearly everywhere that is so glamorous, so sitting in a common place really was more like a new experience than something to complain about. But the view was kind of nice and Rise wasn’t going to complain about it at all.
"I do, who wouldn’t like sushi anyway." Her eyes still looking through the window as people walked by living their lives in peace in a city like this despite not wanting to be here, constructing new realities and accommodating themselves, making new friends, and possibly missing someone from back home. When she really thought about it, observing people at times is really interesting.—-But her eyes drifted away from the window when she realised he took out the booklet again. He must be quite fond of it or perhaps reminded him of someone? Like his little sister or something like that.
"Is this thing something that reminds you of a friend or perhaps a family member?" Considering the design was kind of childish there really wasnt another way of explaining why he’d take it out of his backpack. “I’m just curious really, seems like something your little sister would love having, if you happen to have one anyway." A giggle was let out as she also remembered Nanako, she liked cute things like this, maybe if he didn’t really wanted the booklet he’d share it with the little girl? If only Rise knew what this thing really can do.
So far to date, he had no purpose or need to write anybodies name down with the generalized choice of pain to follow. Try as hard as he will, the man ignored any comments on the new founded decor of his notebook that constantly ended up in outbursts of laughter. The pages too had sparkles and Mickey Mouse designs but none of this mattered when he would be able to start writing inside its pages. Light didn't want to sound like a complete jerk or try to be snarky when all she had asked a simple question, but every encounter he had had in Hive had started out with this stupid looking book.
Light set his pen down just after the inside of the cover and placed his hands on his chin for a comfortable balance as he spoke.「 "Not quite. It looks like a joke but I assure you there is nothing of a laughing matter of how to properly use this booklet." 」His tone of voice had sounded like an overdue sigh in which extended throughout the whole sentence he spoke. The ice chilled water had helped his nerves quite a bit, especially when he had to re-explain the bright and happy looking weapon of his. Kira would love to tell her just exactly what this weapon of his was, and if the cover letters hadn't been confusing enough, than describing its powers would be just as equally confusing.
The special had been the most common California Rolls, but being the gentleman he was, Light would let the lady decide first and then he would base his meal off of her own order.
The waitress had been nice but rather frazzled when she had seen Yagami's face. There had been a rumor that some of his information had been leaked by a computer wiz, thus striking fear into those whom took it upon themselves to read it all the way through. He remembered a title such as 'Death has left us a Note, and he is coming!' in which blew the cover of the deathnote.
「 "I'll have an order of your Green Dragon roll." 」

His words were impacting, but honest. He seemed to be quite humble and trust worthy- at least that was Diaochan’s initial reaction to Light. She could usually tell if someone was a danger at first, but… the teenaged boy seemed safe enough. Besides, he had helped her and was expressing a kindness she hadn’t seen ever since she got here; where was the harm in speaking with him, or asking for help? “I was originally from the Shaanxi province in China, but I served under the Imperial Han Dynasty." Judging from his reaction though, he seemed to be taking her information in and processing it as best as he could. Good. He may not know exactly what she was talking about, but the fact that he humored her was enough.
"Light." What an interesting name.
Though she had no reason to talk as her name was associated more with the imperial headdresses she would see the maids carry for the more higher up and official women in the court. “Light it is then. You spoke that one first, so it seems that you have a deeper affinity to it than Kira." Carefully, she took the blazer he offered her and draped it over her bare shoulders. “The person I’m looking for is my lord, Lu Bu. He’s the man I love." She could feel her cheeks flushing as she spoke that, but confidence resonated with her honest words. “He’s about… a head or two taller than you Light." The dancer shuffled next to him, following him toward the busy city that they were forced into.
"You couldn’t miss him if you tried. He has a presence that demands attention. He… also wears clothing that’s elaborate- mostly armor though."
With his finger placed against his chin, he couldn't of believed that he had let such an idea surpass his knowledge. Just like everyone else whom had been relatively new to this city, there had been a large bulletin post of all of the new members that would be soon residing within Hive. Since there were all the way in their piss poor section in beta, getting there by foot would take hours and both of their time had been rather valuable - or at least he assumed that her time was just as valuable as his.
「 "A grand presence such as yourself? That's truly amazing. ." 」
But a presence that demanded attention? As golden as that may of sounded he couldn't help but get a harsh vibe from such words. Being the Kira, of course he didn't like to hear that - someone whom felt the need to stand over anything and everything. But he needed to help this girl find him, and with his idea in mind this wouldn't seem like an impossible task.
「 "There is a bulletin, a master-list if you will, contains all of the names of those whom end up here just as we did. I have a few outdated copies back in Misa's apartment.. surely his name would be on the updated version." 」
Or at least he had hoped it would be, seeing this girls saddened face had been starting to rub off on him. Kind of like hearing his girlfriend wince when she was held captive by law enforcements - something that Light didn't want to relive unless he had a full purpose to kill them.
新生。ー( Rebirth ) [CA.OPEN]
Erika was starting to think this man had completely gone bonkers for spewing such nonsense, but she also thought there had to be a certain reason for him to say all that. What irked her most was that serious expression of his, as if he truly believed in everything he had told her. At least she now knew his name, although she still didn’t know how writing it down along with her choice of inflicted pain would be important at all. If this worked though..
Quite interesting, no? The detective pulled out a pen - glad she had been allowed to keep that as well for the sake of taking notes about her investigation - and opened the little notebook to write down Light Yagami. She paused to give the whole pain thing a little more thought as to not make it too boring. She was the piece of the cruelest witch, after all.
Hearing him speak up again caused Erika to look up and let go of her trail of thoughts, eyes confused and searching. Bony ghouls? Yes, he had gone bonkers, that much was obvious.
"I don’t see anything either. You might want to see a psychiatrist though."
And thus she returned to thinking about her choice of inflicted pain. It sounded as though killing the person was out of the question, so certainly torture would have to do. How about
Having his fingernails torn off.
The man had been assessing the woman before him, the way she held his notebook and her interesting choice of attire in which reminded him of the harajuku groups back home - she was most certainly different than the prim proper folks. Maybe she simply denied the fact of becoming an adult and decided to dress the part of a child, or maybe he was completely fooled all together. All in all he was more than happy that she had taken the judgement upon the god that he had been mental, a wacky kind of mental; this stereotype would make things a lot more easier if she ever decided to become nosy and ask more questions.
Alas the anticipation had made his nerves tingle within the muscles of his stomach like a bunch of wild butterflies. If Ryuk were to show up now, all of this hot shit attitude of his would go to waste and well, that writing would be effective. The enchantment that had been laced within its pages was strict, and the scientists meant minor and nothing greater than that. Light's expression switched from serious to a bright smile in which mocked the girls intelligence for not hearing him clearly. Both arms crossed one another as his eyes had begun to gleam of crimson hues.
「 "Well? Did you write it yet?" 」
His tone had been an over-exaggeration of impatience; the longer he waited without a single ounce of pain or change within his body, the more sure and full of himself he had gotten. No shinigamis had entered Hive City, the first Kira would of been the first person to see one if they had arrived. Shaking his head whilst he held out his hand for the return of the eye sore of a booklet, he had predicted such a thing would happen - a fruitless effort on her behalf.
「 "Let's try this again. I'm Light, and that is mine." 」

Formalities. That’s a thing, of course. God, the last time Matt had to shake hands with anyone was years ago. Still, he accepted, giving a firm shake. His expression hadn’t changed once, still uninterested.
"Matt. Nice to meetcha."
It was odd to actually make contact with anyone again considering Matt had spent a considerable amount of time rotting approximately six feet under. His glove obscured most of the feeling, but it was… exhilarating, in a way.
At least the store didn’t seem to be that far away, which was a godsent. One thing he’d never lost was his penchant for being lazy. Of course, he had nothing on him right now other than the bb gun and the welcoming note, so he’d have to settle on browsing the available selection.
What had he missed? New consoles? Probably. He was already getting stoked just thinking about it!
Walking through the shoppes doors and seeing nothing but video games made Kira feel like he had walked into a strange land. There had been so much more to life than wasting away on ones couch with mind numbing game play.. but he could play this game.
His eyes had wandered the various selections this place had to offer, his interests mainly going towards the more gruesome genre, maybe he could look into a new hobby other than sitting at the library.
「 "Looking for anything in particular?" 」
The Hive wasn't so generous when it came to supplying them with enough money to last more than a week, surely buying a game with so little would be irresponsible, unless Kira offered him some money.
私の失われた愛。-My lost love.
Luckily, they weren’t so far away from her apartment, so at least the walk wasn’t going to take them all that long. Misa found herself smiling as she felt his fingers intertwined with hers. She wasn’t really sure what gave him the change of heart, usually Light would never condone walking by the hand in public, but whichever pushed him to act the way he was acting just now she wasn’t going to question it, just like in the past, when she never questioned him at all.
She knew there was a lot of talking yet to happen but she was willing to simply unfold every possible information he needed. As they finally were far away from the crowd and the voices of people calling out her name faded in the background Misa continued to hold his hands tenderly, sometimes her fingers playing with his as she walked. But nothing like how it really took her by surprise the sudden kiss he gave her. Did he really miss Misa that much?
The second Kira wrapped arms around him. "Misa had forgotten the taste of your lips, that was a good reminder of what she had been missing for so long" Even if she wanted to stay like that holding against him she knew the faster they got into the apartment the better, for his own privacy and hers as well. And who knows maybe she even will get more kisses there. Thus the girl let go and grabbed his arm once more, even though she had been offered his hand which she gladly had taken priorly, she had grown so accustomed to do this that instinctively would keep grabbing and grabbing.
After walking just a couple of other blocks they finally got the building where she was living, they continued their way using the elevator. After finally finding themselves in the 5th floor she took out the key and opened the door. "Misa asked for a better place but it seems everybody gets the same in this city." She complained at him, and more than a complaining sounded like an apology for the place.
“Misa hopes you stay with her from now on." After all, everything that belonged to her was also his.
The man simply swayed his head to and fro; Light understood that the city only offered so much and he was grateful to be inside a building instead of a crusty old box back in zeta. Upon his first few weeks here he hadn't run into anyone that had caused any trouble to those around him, there wasn't much need for the directory book he had picked up back in the library just yet. The book-bag had been heavy carrying around a +10lbs piece of informational literature, so Light couldn't wait to finally lay his back down on a bed or sofa.
Kira could see the glow in Misa's eyes, the way her irises played with the dim elevator lighting had allowed smill glimpses of shinigami ruby to shine through. More often than not, he had wondered how much time she had left until the last of her soul would give in to Rem's contract. How foolish Misa. If he had kept a low key before she had gotten that booklet when she was younger, he could of stopped her from signing her soul away and just playing Kira just like Light was. However, ultimately he knew their death was the final outcome, he was thankful to be alive once again.
「 "Of course, I'm here to stay." 」His vision had left her eyes and began to daydream whilst looking at the blinking buttons on the machinery. No doubt his mind had been elsewhere, lost in an unfamiliar place.
The man had been the first person to walk out of elevator as soon as its doors had opened. Truth being told, he hated those things since they had constant cameras watching people stand whilst going floor to floor - kind of creepy. The sectors hallways had been pretty long, causing his head to spin a bit from how narrow the hallways had been. With one hand gently placed against the side of his head, a few of his digits massaged his temple to relieve any pain from his headache.
「 "Lead the way." 」Not being the typical man that likes to drool all over females bodies, every now and they he did enjoy seeing her while she walked with such power. After all, they did have a peculiar power. Light bobbed around oncoming residents in the narrow hallway, and as soon as he got inside her shared unit, the man went straight for the couch. 「 "Wonder where the others are hiding." 」By the others, Light had meant the other Kira's prior to before and after his death: Kyosuke, Jack, C-Kira, and most importantly Teru Mikami.
対決。- Confrontation [CA OPEN]
One had to applaud the collection of the books and the other things that the Hive library offered. More than often the visits that he had intended to keep within half an hour stretched into two. Sometimes he simply forgot the pass of time, sometimes he consciously decided to stay longer. This time it was the latter - the soiree would pull most of the guests of his church away so he could keep it closed with good conscience. After all Pucci held zero interest on attending into such event.
Every time Pucci would leave with rather large pile of books - that was the case now as well. The stack was always compiled from the most different books one could possibly think of. This time there were few different psychological study material collections, mathematic guides, small religious book, an old book of gravity and different fictional works that contained material which one might be surprised to find priest reading (although nothing strongly ‘immoral’).
Just as he was taking the pile towards the counter he had noticed one more book - a thick tome containing different information on churches (from the Earth it seemed). Pucci was actually familiar with it but he had managed to acquire a copy for himself so this was a wonderful chance.
In this enthusiasm he made a miss-step and ended up colliding with the stranger. He barely managed to keep the books from dropping. Slight twitch from his eyebrows was perceivable but the priest still hurried to apologize:
"Ah pardon me—" their voices sounded out simultaneously. Well, it seemed that this person at least held some courtesy: “No, it’s alright. It was my fault as well…." he paused noticing the flier on the ground.
”..are those perhaps yours? I would pick it up for you but as you can see my hands are rather full."
Brown eyes darted down towards the literature that had fumbled from his arms. Most of the books he had chosen to check out had been informational towards the citizens in which resided in Hive City. Names, basic biographies and picture clippings within its pages. Light didn't say anything for he didn't know the initial reaction the other would have when he had noticed the cover in which labled: Directory. To play the inquisitive innocent man would be the most wise decision, but Light also needed to know whom he lived with in this crazed city.
「 "Ah yes, I got it.. don't worry." 」The directory book had been pretty heavy; with detailed descriptions came more pages and this book was a solid 10-15lbs. Of course the descriptions weren't the most important info he had needed, simply the face that had fit the name was only dire to him. This man had a holiness to him, yet a darkness he couldn't fully put his finger on; but Light also had his own bizarre oddities. Maybe this guy would become a great ally to have if everything took a turn for the worst.
Relieving his shoulder of his black backpack, Kira stooped down to his knees to gather up his belongings in which he had signed out. He didn't have any time to read through many or even close to a quarter of names in which lived in Hive. The man planned on heading back to Misa's apartment and read them through more carefully. Although Misa had the ability to see everyone's names as they passed by, Light wasn't as fortunate - had he had his shinigami by his side and made a pact to sell the majority of his soul, then he'd have that ability.
Just act normal, Light. 「 "Are you involved with the church? I'm not one to judge but the cross is a dead give away." 」Since he had been nicknamed God back on his homeland, it seemed only right to play the card as loyal religious man; in which he was..in a way. He didn't wear such things with his attire, but believed those whom committed such heinous crimes would soon meet their demise through a god-like judgement.
